1889 Coffee House

Update January 2022 - was serverly glutened from a BLT sandwich. Order was placed with the caveat that I was celiac and needed to eat gluten free but unfortunately it was not safety prepared.

--- Spring 2021 Offers standard coffee shop drinks, usually has 2 different gluten (and sometimes dairy free) baked good available that are kept in a seperate display case. They do have gluten free bread for sandwiches, most staff is well trained on using a dedicated space, changing gloves, etc. There have been a few times I've had to ask for a manger because the cashier is new. The manger is always helpful and ensures my food is safely prepared. My two favorites are the London Fog and. BLT.

Very helpful and celiac aware. Ordered the scrambled egg bowl and a latte through door dash. I called before to check on cooking surfaces and they said they’d put a note in to make sure it was celiac safe. They have GF bread for sandwiches as well.
