I have been there twice. Both times had chips (dedicated fryer)and salsa, and Carne asada tacos (no rice or beans) from the gf menu. The food was great.

We recently moved to the area and came to Ajo Al’s based on the reviews here. I had the spinach enchiladas. And enjoyed every last bite. I told them I had celiac. Unfortunately, My food was cross contaminated and I was “glutened”. I told myself it was something else because it was so tasty I didn’t want it to be true and the reviews were so good! So we went again. This time I asked for a separate menu- none. There are only the limited 3 or 4 on the menu. I asked the waiter how they handled GF items and he had to go ask. I don’t think he knows what gluten is. The manager came to our table and flat out said they could not guarantee the food is celiac safe as there is flour all over the kitchen. We won’t be back. And I’m sad.

Good food, but limited gluten free menu. Also, the hostess only knows there is a separate gluten-free menu about half the time. Is also marked gf on regular menu. Have had the mushroom, chicken, and spinach enchiladas and chicken fajitas with no issues.

Food is real good (not outstanding, but real good). They don't have a lot of GF options, but enough. Service was good and the ambiance is great. Have eaten here several times with no issues.

There is a separate GF menu, but items on the Main menu are marked GF as well. I had street tacos and my son had the pollo Blanco enchiladas. My fish was a tad dry, but with a little lemon, they were great. The enchiladas were amazing as was the cheese dip. Service was great and waiter answered all questions.

Have eaten at this place while visiting the area numerous times without any issues. Granted, I take Gluten Ease when eating out - diagnosed Celiac, but Staff always has been knowledgeable and offered substitutions when applicable. Very friendly and nice atmosphere.

My husband and I’s favorite Mexican restaurant, we go about once a week and don’t get sick! The manager is knowledgeable if you need to double check something and we enjoy more than several tasty options like their white enchiladas smother in jalapeños cream cheese.
Eaten here a few times and I've never had stomach issues with cross contamination!

Food is delicious, gluten free menu is huge. Chips and salsa gluten free. Staff very knowledgeable!
The gluten free menu had a good selection plus their main menu had several gluten free options. Service was a little slow, but overall good place to eat for celiacs and gluten intolerant. Chips are gluten free in a dedicated fryer

We ate here twice & felt fine both times. The chips and salsa were yummy! Shredded chicken nachos were my choice & it was enough to feed 2-3 people!

Gluten free menu. The chips are in a dedicated GF fryer. Their servings are huge. My chicken nachos will last me two meals. Every chip had cheese and chicken on it. Highly recommend.
