There was no GF indication on the menu, and the staff were very confused about what gluten is and which dishes might be safe. They did point out a few soups that I might be able to have, but didn't have clear answers about cross-contact precautions. We decided to leave and go eat elsewhere.

Anjoo is wonderful! While there isn’t a gluten-free menu, the servers are willing to ask and check on my questions. The food is amazing - maybe the best Korean BBQ I’ve had! We usually get the Beef set C, which is 3 kinds of steak. I stick to the meat and side dishes. I eat the marinated steak very sparingly and avoid most dipping sauces. The last time I asked, the kimchi in the kimchi fried rice was safe. Even eating around my allergies, Still a great meal!

Unfortunate timing I think. The other reviews led me to this restaurant, and I’m very disappointed. They have little to no knowledge of gluten and told me I basically can’t order anything. There’s probably an owner who is knowledgeable about gluten. I did not get that experience
Thrilled to have found this place so close to me! The attentiveness with service was phenomenal and the food was even better. I have a gluten intolerance and when I mentioned this to the server, the owner came out to give me a walk through the menu. He double checked everything before serving it to us- made tweaks to the recipes without a request needed. We felt REALLY well taken care of. πππππ
