I will never eat that this establishment ever again. Gave them a second chance! Awful!

We have been here a few times since our daughter was diagnosed w celiac disease but going out can be stressful. We mentioned to our server that our daughter had a gluten allergy, specifically celiac. She said “Ive got you.” I know exactly what that is. Whoa. She took our order, assured us of the protocol and then offered to wipe down the spot in front of my daughter (just to be extra careful). She was wonderful. It was such a relief to have someone who understood our needs (and had heard of celiac disease!), made us feel like it wasn’t a burden, and went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience. We will be back!

While I appreciate that all Baker’s Crust locations have a separate gluten free menu online and in the restaurants, my pizza was just satisfactory. The pizza was cooked on a gluten free designated pizza pan to prevent cross-contamination in the shared pizza oven. The crust was thin and crispy like all GF cauliflower crusts. I got the pepperoni pizza and it was nothing special, but nothing was wrong with it. There are quite a few other offerings I haven’t tried, like bacon Mac and sandwiches/burgers, that I’d recommend giving a try over the pizza if you eat here.

They have a GF menu. They do say on the menu that they can’t guarantee no cross contamination, but I did not get sick afterwards. Got the burrata and pizza. Both were pretty good!

I ordered a salad with grilled salmon following a discussion with the waitress in which she assured me she understood the need for caution to avoid gluten and that they have a separate prep area in the kitchen, she has already notified the chef and she would ask the chef to clean the grille before preparing my salmon. Instead of salad with salmon, she brought out a salmon dinner with orzo pasta. I eventually got her attention and asked if the orzo was gluten free. No, it was not. They switched my order from salad with salmon to the salmon dinner. Neither she nor the chef caught it. I sent it back and again requested gluten free salad with salmon, which I received the second time. The manager came to the table, apologized and did not charge for the meal, but my faith in their safety for gluten free preparation was already lost by then.

Excellent service and separate GF menu. We had fennel sausage and caramelized onion pizza which was delicious. My son also had a double decker burger and he said it was one of his top 3 in VA Beach! Excellent staff and service too. Owner greeted us with soup and chip samplers since it was our first time there.
