Burgers on lettuce, pizzas, and a quinoa and rice concoction… lots of choices on the menu for gluten sensitive folks. PIZZZOOOOKIES are good for a sugar fix!

My daughter gets the GF pizza and has never gotten sick. We have eaten in the restaurant and done take-out as well. Everyone we’ve encountered has always been helpful. I only took a star off because there aren’t too many choices.

June 19, 2023- Passing through Allentown, PA, I ate a GF dinner at this restaurant and did not get sick. However, my experience was not great at all. All that I wanted was a salad. I told my server that I needed a GF meal and also told him that the gluten sensitive items on the menu did not match the gluten sensitive items on the website. The server brought back the manager. Contrary to other reviews for this location, the manager was rude and not accommodating. He was unwilling to address any of the items listed on the website because the photos did not match. I wanted a BBQ chicken salad that would not have the gluten containing onion straws. I could not get it and the only reason given was that the website showed a photo of a wedge salad. I was disappointed. What if I had done the online ordering? What would I have gotten? Instead, I ordered a brew house salmon bowl. It was tasty and GF, but not what I wanted. Overall bad experience.
I'm providing the website menu for gluten sensitive items for what it is worth.

Update: My server and manager were excellent again and explained that for allergies, they pull the ingredients out of the back, not off the line, so their produce remains safe. I had an amazing burger. The manager also explained that the fries aren't safe due to a wheat coating, not just a shared fryer. Definitely recommend!
Our waiter was very knowledgeable about gf items and preparation. At a different location, I had tried the gf pizookie multiple times- it was always undercooked and waitstaff would be confused as to why my "cookie" was dripping off my spoon. Here, our waiter simply said they have to bake it twice. First time I was able to enjoy their pizookie! My meal was also great.

Had a delicious pizza from here after a long Roadtrip! Our server Craig was so knowledgeable about coeliac disease and assured me of everything, bringing me a gluten free menu and advising me not to share the chips with friends as they are coated in gluten. Will definitely be back here again!

There were lots of options to choice from and the waitress was very knowledgeable on the menu and changes that could be made.
The thing that I liked the best was the gluten free pizookie with ice cream. It was amazing and I don’t know the last time I had such a good dessert at a restaurant.

I had a great experience again! The manager came to the table to talk about the measures they would take in the kitchen to make sure my food would be safe. I had the chicken with rice and beans dish. In the past, I’ve had their pizza several times and the warm chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. Delicious!

My waitress was very a knowledgeable. She warned me that the grill and fryers can both be cross contaminated so I couldn't get burgers or steaks but their gluten free pizza and cookie dessert is phenomenal. She told me they cook the pizza in a separate pan in the oven. All toppings except meatballs are GF. Best pizza ever. Will go back.
UPDATE: Returned and was told by the manager that they do not have a separate fryer and they do not recommend anything fried. GAH. I wonder if they had recently changed the oil the last time I ate here.. so upset that I was lied to the first time. Didn’t get anything fried this time and had a small reaction to gluten...
Oh my goodness, I had a burger topped with bacon and brisket with BBQ sauce and a side of fries. It was phenomenal. Also had chips and guacamole for an appetizer (separate fryer) and ice cream for dessert! No reaction and I’m very sensitive. Definitely feel safe here after ordering so many different items during rush hour on a Saturday night. Will be back.
The Caesar salad with grilled chicken is delicious

The staff here was incredible with my gluten free needs. The waiter made sure to mark that all of my food needed to be cooked and watched carefully. He assured me that the head chef would be cooking mine and keeping close care. He even sent the manager over to my table to let me know how serious they were taking this. I felt so comfortable eating my food, and it was delicious! The tomato soup is to die for!

The gluten free pizookie is so good!
The gluten free pizza is amazing. The crust was crispy all the way to the end of the slice. No sagging slice syndrome.
There is a separate GF menu. The staff is knowledgeable and the person who delivered my meal also has celiac. I have a pepper and potato allergy as well as gluten. A person from the kitchen came out to confirm my order. I felt safe and the food was very good.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well both my waitress and the kitchen staff understood the need to avoid cross-contamination in the kitchen with my food! The food was carefully made under the head cooks guidance, they marked it, and brought it out separately to ensure that nothing would happen to it while preparing other foods. My hamburger was delicious and I even enjoyed the gluten free bun they gave me!
Best of all, I never once got sick from it after we left! I'd go back again!

I went to Bj’s Brewhouse and had the Baja bowl with only vegetables. About 30 minutes after eating I got very ill. I’ve eaten there a few other times, but had pizza or salad. I didn’t get sick any of those times.

Ordered the burger with gluten free bun. Looked too good to be true, but receipt (was a to go order) said gluten free in huge letter so I thought oh surely... Nope. So sick

I wish I could give zero stars. Told the waiter twice I have celiacs, he brought out my food and I took one bite and knew it was gluten. Do not come if you have celiac I got sick eating here.
