On my first trip to London, I really wanted to go for afternoon tea. We saw a YouTube video months before our trip, highlighting different places in London for afternoon tea. Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea was featured as one of the “places,” as it takes place on a double decker tour bus! I booked afternoon tea for our family of three, once I found out gluten free options were available. With my IBS, there are many foods I can not tolerate, so I was also able to have vegetarian gluten free sandwiches and treats for myself. I was shocked that they were gluten free! Everything on my tray was amazing! The tour was loads of fun, with fun and upbeat music playing while we got to peep at some of London’s landmarks. The staff were absolutely delightful.
We ended up on the same street as the actual bakery location the day after our tour. They had a GF cake slice or GF macarons for purchase. The cake was fantastic. My fam reports that the non GF items were also very tasty. The tour and the treats at the bakery were a bit on the pricey side, but man, it was worth it!

I tried to reserve a table here, and they advised me it's not suitable for coeliacs as everything is prepared in the same area and there's a high risk of contamination. As a symptomatic coeliac, I appreciated the candour but didn't risk it.

Had a great afternoon tea with my wife. The gluten free menu items were very good.
