Cafe Yumm is a place I feel I can eat safely and I am very sensitive.

Great Service, but over priced and menu did not specify toppings. If you're thinking Chipotle, don't go here. Food was cold.
Food was lukewarm, & it didn’t taste that good overall. But the Chilean zucchini stew had a good flavor. And it was pretty pricey. We won’t be coming back here.
Cafe yumm rocks. I have celiac and never feel sick after eating here. It's one of my favorites!

Update 2016
I've increased my rating because they finally have plain grilled chicken as a protein option. Finally after 4 years!!
They also have gf Atlas Cider on tap as part of the $10 bowl & brew combo. Sweetness!!!
And gf cookies for dessert.

Good food but all the meats are marinated in gluten based sauces so your only protein is tofu and I'm not at all fond of soy.

My husband is a physician here in Bend Oregon who specializes in Celiac Disease and other gastrointestinal/autoimmune disorders. As a celiac myself (with numerous food allergies), I work with my husband educating the public about the world of gluten-free living and helping newly diagnosed patients transition into a gluten-free lifestyle. We regularly visit restaurants around Bend in order to stay up-to-date on the best restaurants to recommend to our gluten-free patients. We’ve visited Café Yumm in Bend on numerous occasions and have always had decent experiences at this facility. My husband even took the time to visit with the local owner and question on the preparation processes and assess the risk of cross contamination. He was very impressed with steps that Cafe Yumm takes to keep the facility safe for those with gluten sensitivities and other food allergies.
i love their yumm bowls. the sauce is awesome!
Their Yumm bowls are delicious and gluten free. Made up of black beans and brown rice with fresh tomatoes, black olives, avocado, salsa, cheese and sour cream with the Yumm sauce mixed in. Absolutely yummy! They are my go to fast food restaurant in Bend.
Great experience. Immediately advised they would change gloves and used a separate colored tray to avoid cross contamination. Excellent customer service. Good food.

Super friendly and well trained staff. Instantly knew what to do. I got the edamame bowl with chicken and it tasted great! A bit expensive for the portion but that's airport food for you.
You can view the GF menu by scanning a QR code at the till, just ask the staff.

Just got takeout and asked for gluten free and careful care for celiac and halfway through I could tell it wasn’t. 😟 super bloated now, tummy feels hot. I called, the woman I spoke with really nice and assured me she made my dish personally… even cooked my tofu in a separate pan. No gluten in anything I had. Idk how that happened but it did.

With gluten and dairy allergies, this is my go to place at the Portland Airport. I've ordered their various Yumm bowls for years, and was happy to see they've expanded their breakfast offerings, to include these Yumm Rancheros. If you don't eat cheese they'll sub avocado, which I love. The photo shows how it looked before I mixed it all up, and it's served on corn tortillas. The ordering process is quick, the help is friendly, the food quality is high and they'reallergy aware. Thumbs up!

Went in to order, asked if the sauce was gluten free and explained that I have Celiac. Was told that it is but that there was no way they could guarantee that there would be no cross contamination.
