The pizza isn’t amazing but it is safe and gf. As some spell out elsewhere, ONLY the premade GF pizzas with ingredients AS-IS are guaranteed GF. It’s like some sort of weird kitchen policy, the second you deviate in any way on a PIZZA topping, they no longer keep chain of custody in the GF kitchen. The servers at multiple locations have warned us about this so we’ve always only eaten the premade gf menu items.

The GF pizza did not make me sick. I sat at a booth that overlooked the kitchen so I was able to watch my dinner being made and I was happy about the process to reduce cross contamination. Not dedicated GF but a pretty good option.

They have very strict safety procedures for preparing their gf pizza and they have partnered with the gluten intolerance group to develop these. Check out info available online. There are three gf pizza choices and a few other menu options. My child with celiac did not get sick and pizza is yummy.

Gluten free pizza is now back on the California pizza kitchen menu with three different options. The BBQ chicken pizza was good, but I liked the standard pizza as a little bit better. Let your server know it's an allergy and the GIG trained kitchen will take all precautions to keep your pizza gf and celiac friendly.
Yes
No stars! They no longer offer GF pizza
They have taken the GF pizza off the menu.
They have 5 pizza options guaranteed to be celiac safe and they’re so tasty!

The manager Mike was fabulous. He explained to me in detail that they prep separately, use a clean pizza cutter, and place an aluminum cover over the pizza in the oven to prevent cross contamination. They have gluten free certified pizzas (triangles on menu). Mike was very patient and totally understood the importance.

The servers, cook, and hostess went above and beyond to try to help me find a safe way to eat here! I was hungry and desperate. They were not very knowledgeable about GF options or celiac disease, but after some back and forth and lots of checking with the cook, they made me a cheese pizza on cauliflower crust. Precautions taken: hand washing, changed gloves, made my pizza on a separate pan so it never touched the prep surfaces. They also put down some parchment paper in the oven underneath my pizza since the oven often gets flour on it from other pizzas. Not the most ideal meal for safety, but I was starving and they were willing to listen and try to help which I appreciated!

Very good salads and very good GF pizza. Thin crust of course, but texture was great. We got the half size salads BTW. The full size are huge.

Solid choice. No gluten issues. My food came out separate and marked. I have eaten at different locations so I was not worried about cross contamination but some people may be concerned
