I ordered DoorDash from here, specified a gluten allergy, then called to make sure they knew. When my order arrived, my waffles had captain crunch crushed up all over it. This is obviously not gluten free and thankfully I knew this and did not eat it. I tried getting a refund but the restaurant handed me off to DoorDash as “there was nothing they could do” even though they still got paid for messing up. DoorDash denied my request as I didnt have proof. A waste of $25.

I went in for the first time last week as a newbie to GF and got a GF waffle with toppings. They had a menu listing all GF and even vegan options, which made it easy to order. My food was delicious, barely tasting any different from a regular waffle. I was really happy with the experience overall!

Chicken strips are no longer GF. Had a brunch waffle with egg, queso, bacon, chorizo, and arugula. Nice flavors and textures. Patience needed; waffles take some time.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Any waffle can be made with their gf batter, gf chicken tenders too! The food was absolutely fabulous!

They have a dedicated waffle maker and gluten free chicken strips (frozen) that is heated up safely. Good waffles, meh corn chicken strips. Go for the experience but their hours suck.

This little place is fantastic. Very knowledgeable about gluten free and provided me a list of which toppings were safe. Best waffle I have had, gf or otherwise. I am celiac and had zero issue.
The only downside is the place is pretty tiny so you want to time it when it won’t be super busy.

Everyone was wonderful and very sweet. They make GF/DF badder at the front of the store to avoid contamination with the gluten full badder at the back of the shop. They also had toppings separated by vegan and gf to help you choose what to put on your waffle. I had a gf/df waffle with powdered sugar and scrambled eggs (I’m not vegan) and felt great afterwards. Lots of choices for gf or non and my family enjoyed their gluten full meals:) highly recommended:) One thing to note, it is a very small space so not a lot of seating. It was quite busy the whole time we were there, but the food came out in a timely fashion and people were coming and going at a steady stream:)

Really yummy waffles! They didn’t have the gluten free fried chicken and after eating I definitely did not feel super well. I am pretty sensitive so I would still recommend!

I love Capital waffles! I have eaten here so many times and never had any issues. I usually get the Piggy Egg Berry one which I highly recommend! The gluten free waffle is to die for!

There is a gluten-free waffle maker on site exclusively for gluten-free waffle. However the waffle do not taste good and the texture is tough. The service was also extremely slow taking 38 minutes to make two waffles.
Breakfast is my difficult and least favorite meal, but this place helped all of that frustration go away. They have gluten free waffle batter and cook it in it’s own iron, and serve it on its own separate plate to avoid the cross contamination. They also have a lot of good options for grilled meats to avoid breading.
Personally, I enjoyed the healthy options. I was to able to have eggs, spinach, fruit, and a half waffle for a decent price. It was delicious, healthy, and a very friendly staff and environment. Wish I lived here so I could come more often!

I've eaten here several times with no problem. I came in because they have gluten free fried chicken, however, I was told they don't have a dedicated fryer so it's not safe for celiac folks. They do have a separate waffle fryer and I've heard them yell into the kitchen "we got a celiac!" haha
Good gluten free waffles and nice staff. I was just upset at the fact I couldn’t get a chocolate chip waffle.

Best gluten free waffles. Unique choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner waffles. The best part, however, is the gluten free dessert waffles....amazing! Great prices too. If you need a great place in downtown, order a $5 mimosa and try these waffles!
They claim to have GF waffles. But my body told me in the week afterwards that there was definitely at least some cross contamination. I think it might be possible for them to pull off GF but they didn’t in my trip. Proceed with CAUTION!
