Low carb burgers are good. But some of them are serious idiots about what gluten free means. Don't ask for anything other than the burger. Apparently they don't understand the term dedicated fryers.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had. I asked for a lettuce wrapped burger and was told they were knowledgeable about cross contamination. They gave me it with a bun, and I went in to get a new one. They did not seem to think they should have to remake it. The woman that I spoke to told me to just take the bun off. Then, I told her why I needed it remade. The man ‘remaking’ my burger was in my view. He wasn’t even wearing gloves and literally took all the toppings of my burger bare handed and put it back on the grill. I got the woman’s attention and told her I wanted him to remake it entirely with gloves on. Never going back again... not only not safe but disgusting.

All of there burgers have lettuce wrap options and I had no reaction. The fries aren’t safe but they toast their buns away from burgers in a separate top.

Food was delicious! I ordered the famous star with no cheese and wrapped in lettuce. You could get any burger just wrapped in lettuce. But i have been to carl’s jr. were they have still had the cheese but pretty consistent with the no bun.

I love to get a lettuce wrap & fries from Carl’s Jr. I’ve never had an issue with cross contamination on the fries.
