This is a restaurant I went to weekly, I stopped going after two incidents happened, back to back.
1. I advised my waiter I was celiac, went thru all the precautions- I was served a salad with croutons, I returned explaining that a new one would need to be made. I was then served a regular pizza, NOT gluten free, which I also returned, and I was offered no apology, and no refund (not that this is what I was looking for, but really? You tried to get me twice and I was a regular!).
2. I waited about a month, but my son really wanted pizza, so we went back. I went thru my celiac protocol, I ordered a salad and a pasta dish. The exact same thing happened - again with no apology, etc., except this time I ate the pasta and got very sick, my face and hands started swelling almost immediately. I paid my bill and left. I loved this restaruant, but I will not return and would advise any celiac to avoid, their management changed and they are not familiar with how to prepare and protect someone with celiac.
Items are not using gluten free protocol, wait staff is very unfamiliar or unconcerned with protecting from contamination.
