One of my favorite places to eat! I always make it clear that I have a serious gluten allergy. I always get the same exact thing on the menu, the margarita grilled chicken, I’ve never gotten sick afterwards.

When I asked for their GF menu it’s was mainly just sides and salad. I understand it’s a chain. But you can offer more then just a salad.

I have ordered gluten free at Chili's and several times my food arrived with a big piece of Texas toast on top!! This is after having a detailed convo with the server. Celiacs beware at this restaurant. The line cooks are clueless I'm sure
I ordered a salad and requested no croutons. It came with croutons and I said I'm sorry, I have a food allergy - so I can't eat something that has touched any type of bread. I saw the manager Cw out of the kitchen, talk directly to my waitress, hand it back to her, and it was presented to me with CRUMBS all over it - someone had hand-picked the croutons off of my salad! I spoke with the manager immediately afterwards and he was apologetic and said he did not know the same salad was sent back to me - and no, nothing was comped, and I was charged full price for my meal. We have not gone back since.
They have a Gluten Free menu
Chili’s online menu lists their gluten free options but the options are mostly burgers without buns…

I'm a newly diagnosed celiac, and this was my first time eating out. I selected Chili's because it has a gluten free menu available online. I was pleasantly surprised at how much they offered. They also clearly indicated which items were cooked on surfaces where food could come into contact with gluten, and they even included which salad dressings were gluten free. We sat at the bar. When I asked the bar tender if their margaritas were gluten free, he knew what I was talking about. He didn't know for sure but thought the sweet and sour mix might have gluten. He was very patient as I figured out my order, and made a note for the cook to be careful. I felt safe eating the ribs, but it's so early in my diagnosis, I'm not sure if I would have symptoms if cross contaminated. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because they don't provide information on their drinks.
Update January 2022: I ordered take out steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. No symptoms! And I have become extremely sensitive to gluten and know when I've been glutened. Also, heard back from corporate, and their presidente margaritas are gluten free! I'll be checking those out soon and will update if my experience says otherwise.
Update September 2022: I have eaten here at least 7-8 times now and have had a positive experience every time, including several times with takeout. I generally get the ribs or steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli or a salad. Still never been glutened.

So I have Lupus and I’ve developed a new problem… Gluten! I didn’t have time to cook yesterday so we tried Chili’s. I looked up the GF menu. Easy and printable! I ordered the Guiltless Margarita Chicken with a side salad, Citrus Balsamic Vinaigrette. So good! I did eat some chips (I couldn’t help myself) which probably explains why my skin is all itchy today. I give Chili’s a 👍🏻
