I absolutely love chipotle but get sick every single time I go. Despite that they change gloves, the spoons inside the bar still touch the flour tortillas and therefore contaminate the foods. I've watched them and it seems that the spoons that touch the wheat tortillas the most are the rice and beans because they are the first in the lineup. So if you want to chance it, skip the rice and beans. Also skip the first lettuce bin because they touch that with their hands and use the same hands to roll up the Burritos.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
Was knowledgeable about gf. Tell them you have a gf allergy. ( allergy they understand) They use new utensils, wash hands, wipe counter, and get fresh supply out of fridge like lettuce and cheese. I had the carnitas bowl but all Ingredients are gf except flour tortillas. One person makes entire order themselves which is Chipotle's policy. I've never gotten sick eating at a chipotles.

Usual good Chipotle food. The staff proactively changed their gloves and the serving spoons. There always seems like a small risk because the potentially contaminated spoons had been in the same food bins. I’ve never had a problem though.

Ordered a burrito bowl with chicken, white rice, mild salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. I specified the order as gluten free for a celiac customer. I got sick so whatever they do at this location things are cross continated. I won't be back. It's probably because the line is an absolute mess with food strewn all over. It wasn't like this in the past and I didn't get sick then.

Amazing! Everything on the menu is GF with the exception of their flour tortillas. You can check out their allergen list at chipotle.com > allergens. My bowl was incredible!
