Eating out is rare for me because of a heavy reaction to gluten. I did my research in separate documents on their main website to confirm my "wholesome veggie bowl" had all gluten-free ingredients. Unfortunately, I became quite sick with a gluten reaction. I question if a source was present in the spices/coating of the chicken. They were incredibly busy in the kitchen, it is chalenging to say that this chain is avoiding cross-contamination.

We've eaten here multiple times and haven't had an issue (two members with Celiac). They change gloves, serving utensils, and wipe down the counter before preparing anything GF due to Celiac or allergy. And they are so patient!

The girl behind the line was aware of cross contamination and said they would change out all spoons and everyone change gloves. They got my lettuce from another location(not from the line). As with any place like this, there is a chance of cross contamination, but they made me feel safer than at most places.

Chipotle does not have a gluten free menu but instead has a list of gluten-containing ingredients to avoid. Cross-contamination is a concern, however, so let the person taking your order know that you are gluten free and if you need them to take the proper precautions.
From their website: "If you avoid gluten, don't eat our flour tortillas. If you are highly sensitive to gluten and would like us to change our gloves, just let us know at the start of your order. You should be aware items containing corn, including corn tortillas (chips, soft corn, and crispy corn tortillas) and corn salsa, may have a small amount of gluten from potentially co-mingling with gluten-containing grains in the field."
these young people blow my mind with how on top of the gf thing they are. and the gf options are delicious and we'll priced. everything on the line is gf it seems. all but flour tortillas. only thing was I needed to suggest sandwiching my corn tortilla in tinfoil in the press. 👍👍👍👍👍

I like going to chipotle because they are generally educated on gluten free diets. All of the menu items are gluten free except the flour tortillas so you can get a burrito bowl, salad, corn tortilla tacos, and chips. There have been a couple of times tho when the staff didn't seem educated. You have to tell them at the beginning of the line GF/celiac so they change their gloves, get new lettuce and cheese, and change the spoons. A couple times they messed up but cleaned everything and made me a new bowl. Just watch them carefully and make a complaint online if it's unsafe and they can train better.

I asked the front manager if I could get stuff from the back and she was passive aggressive the whole time about serving me. Eventually I told her I was okay not to get anything and she was verbally relieved. It was very upsetting and overwhelming going there. It made me feel like a huge inconvenience.

all offerings seem to be gluten free. I can always eat here safely.
They were so good with us! We asked them to change their gloves which they did. Felt very comfortable here!

Amazing! Everything on the menu is GF with the exception of their flour tortillas. You can check out their allergen list at chipotle.com > allergens. My bowl was incredible!

I came at a busy time but ended up not getting sick. The rice was insanely salty though, I had a hard time finishing my meal. I actually felt the crunch of salt. It seemed like someone spilled salt into it.
