Great experience. Lots of things can be modified.

Staff was well-versed with dealing with allergies. Chef confirmed he was able to cook the jambalaya without any cross contact. And it was delicious!

I called ahead to find out if they could accommodate. Immediate yes and without me even asking further she assured me they take proper steps to avoid cross contact and contamination. When we arrived for dinner, the server introduced herself and first question was if anyone had any food allergies. When I told her I was Celiac (prepared to tell her gluten allergy) she immediately acknowledged she knew exactly what to do, notify the chef, they prepare with care of no cross contact. No separate gf menu, but was given a modified version of the regular menu indicating what would be safe. Every small plate order we placed, she assured me of the safety precautions. The only complaint I have is they had runners delivering the food, they had no idea some were specially prepared so I had to ask each time for clarification. One time the chef did deliver the plate himself explaining the modifications. I did tell the server she was doing great on her end but it would be more comfortable for me if she, the manager or the chef delivered my food. Other than the plate deliveries, I was pleased with the care they took for me to eat safely.

The options are limited but the server was super knowledgeable and actually knew what celiac disease was for a change and broke down all my options even asked me if cross contamination was a concern, I said yes and be went down to even more specifics! Great service!!

I would say try it but prepared to be diligent. They will gladly make exceptions and substitutions but options are limited and you should use your own understanding of ingredients to make choices. On last visit they had molasses as an ingredient - which can go either way. It was listed as GF but I double checked. Waiter said yes, but would ask. Came back and said kitchen verified it was NOT gluten free and was a mistake on the menu. Not the first time this occurred.
Would love to see an increase in understanding, awareness and options from the high end Lake Nona restaurants. They’re beautiful but don’t yet provide a great experience for the Celiac community.
The staff was fantastic! I’ve been there a couple times with no issues - would even clarify every part of alcoholic beverages to make sure I was all good. Great food, better service! Not to mention, they even changed the oil in the fryer so I could have fries!! I will be back!

Menu clearly stated GF items. NY Strip came out with fried scallops. Bus boy admitted dish was not GF. Manager blamed waitress but admitted menu was wrong.

Awesome small plates restaurant. It's owned by Tavistock, and they have a very solid protocol in place for food allergies- a manager goes over the menu with you, it's prepared in a separate area, and a manager or chef walks the food out to you. They have a list of their small plates that are gluten free. This is one of our favorites!
