Lots of gluten free options including a case of gf baked goods. Staff is knowledgeable. All gf options are marked on the menu which is great. A mainstay in the city!

Love this place! So much to choose from which is gluten free and also has lots of vegan options. Salads, curries, soups, cakes etc. Note: I was offered gluten free bread that they said was cross-contaminated. Really lovely place but just make sure to ask your questions beforehand!

If you ask, they will tell you they can't fully prevent cross-contamination, so it isn't safe for celiacs but may be fine for gluten avoiders. They do have lots of gf menu items.

I love Claire's! Probably not the safest for someone who needs to avoid cross contamination at all costs but the staff is rlly attentive to gluten free accommodations and there's a wide variety of treats and snacks if ur gf.

They offer gluten free bread but then tell you there are “trace amounts of gluten” in the bread...I think they meant cross contamination but they couldn’t quite describe what “trace amounts” meant. Disappointing and misleading.

I had no problem eating here and enjoyed a really good baked good from here. They have SO MANY options.

This place is not safe for Celiac’s. I have routinely gave them a shot since 2012, but every time the staff is completely unable to adequately address cross contamination.

The food here is absolutely incredible! It has the sweetest ambiance that makes you feel truly at home and the staff are friendly. The gluten free and vegan options are endless and everything is vegetarian! I live an hour away and I’d totally come here just for one meal. Highly recommend!!
I tried this place a couple times before giving up. It clearly has a loyal following, but the food just isn’t adequate in quality or quantity for the price. One experience, I had browned (over cooked) eggs served with a few banana slices on a yellow plate (??) and my GF toast was cool and topped with cold butter. I’d suggest another option in the area. Really, any other option.
My favorite place to eat. I met the owner who was working there that day. I enjoyed their barbecue chik’n dish for vegetarians and it was gluten free too. a+

really sweet about being gluten free. made sure that everyone touching your food knew about allergy

Claire's is fine if you are casually avoiding gluten, but it is not celiac friendly. I got sick after eating there and frankly I shouldn't have even tried. There is gluten everywhere and it doesn't look like any care is taken to avoid cross contamination.

Lots of options for GF The rice and bean burrito is out of this world. The tortilla is great texture and the sauce is amazing.

They had no idea how to handle cross contamination for people with Celiac Disease. I'm not sure how it says they are GIG trained? They did try to accommodate though.

The gluten free "flatbread" pizza was disgusting and extremely overpriced.
excellent selection of gf sandwiches and cakes and Salads and everything!

I had the gluten-free grilled cheese and the gluten-free Lithuanian Crumb Cake muffin and it was all amazing. This place is like a gluten-free heaven that I have to stop at when I come to Yale.
I've had the burritos, nachos, quesadillas, caprese salad, all gluten free. We keep coming back for the 'Mike's Nachos' with refried beans and guacamole. Their guacamole is out of this world. Their food is fantastic. Oddly, the salsa is weird, soupy, and cooked, with WAY too large pieces of onion in it. Only complaint about an otherwise outstanding place to eat, with excellent and friendly staff.

Great food!
I agree with the last reviewer that the GF dessert was fabulous. My breakfast was good (could have been great with a few small changes). Overall, lovely aesthetic to the place & I would eat there again.
4 stars for their gf baked foods, which are great. The gf version of their beloved Lithuanian coffee cake with frosting is fabulous. They also have a lengthy gf menu, which will give many diners peace of mind. Unfortunately their food (outside of dessert) is not so great.
