I have eaten at Colore and have gotten take-out on many occasions over the past four-or-so years and have always had an amazing experience. I have never gotten sick from eating here (I am VERY sensitive), and on certain online orders, the restaurant has contacted ME to make sure I ordered something correctly.
On my most recent experience (05/11/24), my partner and I ordered take-out online and he went to pick it up. We confirmed with the restaurant in person that the items that were supposed to be gluten-free were in fact gluten-free. Upon returning home, I noticed that the GF pasta that is usually penne was NOT penne, so we called the restaurant to make sure that the pasta was actually GF. The restaurant confirmed that they currently had GF conchiglie pasta instead of the GF penne, and even though I was apprehensive to try it, I did and I felt great afterwards. The pasta was delicious and was definitely gluten free!
As a note about what I typically order: I avoid the pizza only because pizza has caused me issues in the past at other restaurants, so I can't say whether or not there is cross-contamination with that. I have never had a problem with the pasta, and the restaurant is very knowledgeable about what can and cannot be made GF. The GF Focaccia is also really good and I haven't had an issue with that, either.

Double checked gluten free order with the waitress THREE times and then again when my meal was served. She confirmed the noodles were gluten free. They were not- the restaurant served me an entire bowl of gluten pasta. The waitress was negligent in not double checking and saying a meal was gluten free when it was not- I say negligent bc when ordering she described the shape of the GF pasta and obviously knew what it was. I called the restaurant after to double check, and I was definitely served gluten. The restaurant has been unresponsive to complaints to discuss the issue. My restaurant anxiety is now next level. I am left writing negative reviews- do NOT trust this restaurant.

The BEST GF pizza I’ve had in a loooong time. Started with GF bread (like flat bread but good) with olive oil and balsamic. Had salad and pizza and then flourless chocolate cake (cake was just ok - not great). Plus a GF beer. Highly recommend!

They can make almost all of their pastas gluten free. They substitute it with gf penne pasta that was good! I wish they had other shapes of gf pasta, but it still tasted good! Everything is clearly marked on the menu.
