I am changing my review. The last few times I’ve eaten here I haven’t felt so great, I thought maybe it was just too spicy. I tested some leftovers after feeling bad for hours and sure enough, gluten was found.

Good food but cross contam is likely and the staff isn't knowledgeable.

Not a place for celiacs! Employees grab everything with their hands despite the fact that there are tongs. A shame bc their food is good but cross contamination is a big issue.
From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
vary yummy nochos one of my favorites

The employees were very accommodating! Each person changed gloves (and were already using tongs) as I went down the line. Everything is gluten free except the flour tortillas and most of the desserts. My family regularly visited this restaurant and since I'm a new diagnosed celiac I'm really excited that I can keep eating here so easily!!

I have repeatedly witnessed employees touch flour tortillas and then dip the same hands into cheese, lettuce, etc. Despite the fact there are tongs placed in each bin. I expressed my concerns about cross contamination to the manager. He refused to acknowledge that this practice is cross contamination, nor did he apologize. This staff is most definitely NOT GIG trained. Infuriating, given that they have tent cards on each table stating they are.

Great food and GF practices!

Live in grapevine and this is hands down my favorite restaurant in the area! I get the sweet pork nachos, rice, tacos. Everything is great, quick, cheap and the staff is wonderful! Love that everything is GF!!!
Good food. Sure appreciate the many many GF options. Big portions too. We will certainly be back.
Great chips and queso!
great food, well-priced, nice to see gluten free mexican food that's both simple and delicious
Pretty awesome, but you have to ask for corn tortillas. And you have to make sure you keep an eye on which one is yours, sometimes they can mix them up if they're really busy!
Not all the workers seem know about the gf protocols but when they do, they are very good at following them; changing their gloves, getting certain foods from the original containers etc.

I had a sweet pork salad. The person that helped me wasn’t sure about my questions but the shift manager helped out. Gloves changed, one person took my order through the whole line. Fryer is GF and tortilla strips are safe.
Only thing in the restaurant with gluten are the flour tortillas. Watch your food and it looks at least as safe as Chipotle…honestly maybe a bit safer because they use utensils for lettuce and cheese where other places use gloves.
