A lot of options and they change gloves and let the rest of the line know it's for an allergy.y only wish is that it was spicier. Everything is on the sheet side. Other than that, great food and great service!!

My experience here was awesome. They have way more GF options than Qdoba and Chipotle and Cafe Rio. They changed gloves without me asking and the same girl stayed with my food and asked the other employee not to touch it. So happy. Thank you!

From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
The place to go for yummy and safe food! I’m a very sensitive celiac and they always deliver a non-contaminated product. Everything but the flour tortillas are gf.

Only thing in the restaurant that has gluten is the flour tortillas!! And they’re great about changing gloves etc. recommend if you’re hungry and passing through but the food is pretty gross. Better than risking anything else though

There was some confusion over my gluten free order. The young man washed his hands and changed gloves then proceeded to make my order. He left it about half way through the line. Another young man first scooted the pans containing flour burritos then touched my salad as he scooted it down the line. When I pointed out that it was gluten free and he touched it he denied it. I told him I have celiac disease and could not eat it. Joe came to my rescue and washed his hands and put on gloves. He then proceeded to make my meal gluten free. I am not one to cause a scene but I do not want to become sick. Thanks to Joe for correcting my order

Great food! Get the Baja bowl with grilled chicken and add your toppings. You walk in and tell them you have celiac disease and they immediately have the whole staff change their gloves. Food is great, no cross contamination and I didn’t get sick. Costa Vida, I love you!

Completely celiac friendly.... the guy behind the counter immediately took off his gloves when I told him my daughter had celiac. Very knowledgeable and friendly! Perfect place for us to stop. Kid friendly!

Semi-knowledgeable staff and great customer service. Also reasonably priced which is rare for gf... However I have gotten sick several times as they scrape the serving spoons all over the tortillas. Beware!

Traveling through on a road trip, we stopped here because of the great reviews. Was not let down, wonderful knowledgeable staff. Food was great
So knowledgeable and very tasty. The assistant manager, Jacob made my food himself. Highly recommend for celiacs.

I'm gluten, dairy, corn and soy free so I wasn't sure what I could find here. I was blown away when the man behind the counter took off his gloves and carefully washed his hands to remove any contamination from the tortillas. With new gloves, he very courteously helped me with my choices. Lettuce, black beans, chicken, guacamole, extra mango salsa and extra cilantro. Makes a wonderful salad. I've eaten there many times and never had problems. So nice to see a fast food restaurant with this kind of attention to special diets.

Excellent customer service, two different people worked with me and both changed their gloves. Everything except the flour tortillas is gluten free.

Very friendly staff! The assistant manager and head cook even came out to talk to us! The food was consistent with every Costa Vida I've been too. Large chunks of sweet pork in my salad and the honey habanero dressing is always amazing!! I know that no matter what I order it's gluten free and they all put on fresh gloves.

Almost everything is gluten free. They change their gloves when serving someone who is gluten free. Very helpful and one of the few fast food chains that has a menu you can count on!

Really good, fresh food. When I tell them I need it gluten free they change their gloves. Lots of choices!
Not all the workers seem know about the gf protocols but when they do, they are very good at following them; changing their gloves, getting certain foods from the original containers etc.

I had a sweet pork salad. The person that helped me wasn’t sure about my questions but the shift manager helped out. Gloves changed, one person took my order through the whole line. Fryer is GF and tortilla strips are safe.
Only thing in the restaurant with gluten are the flour tortillas. Watch your food and it looks at least as safe as Chipotle…honestly maybe a bit safer because they use utensils for lettuce and cheese where other places use gloves.
