I love the gluten free sweet pork quesadilla from costa vida. Its so far been the best place for me to go out to eat. Other places I’ve tried haven’t been helpful.

Love this location. If we are close to Farmington we will go to that one instead of driving closer to home. Love the interactions we have had with the manager over the past year and a half. If he sees us he always handles our orders. He always comes and talks with us and is very interested in learning ASL as my SO is completely deaf. I can’t say enough about the knowledge, food, and friendliness of the staff.

Watched the employee ask the guy In front of me if he wanted corn as preference or allergy. My turn.. I state allergy and she immediately washes her hands and regloves. I wouldn't get enchiladas as the ladles all touch flour tortillas, but got a salad with no tortilla. I wasn't confident about the corn tortillas as I watched her touch them from the previous order after touching flour tortilla. I asked about chips and queso... said they were GF. She grabbed them from the same bin as ones that had probably been grabbed with gluten gloves. She was trying to push my order down as the only one to touch it and even said to the other worker it was gluten free but he touched it anyway. I think they try really hard and I appreciate effort but there were a lot of failures and to me it's just not worth it for a salad.

From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
My favorite restaurant of all time. Lots of options. Not super spicy, VERY delicious, SUPER good with cross contamination. They wash their hands and change their gloves before making your meal.
I told them I had a gluten allergy, they immediately changed gloves and were accommodating. I got the sweet pork salad with cilantro lime vinegarette and it was delicious!

The staff are all so great, understanding and friendly! They make sure to do things safe and not let cross contamination. There’s a Costa in the town I live in but I always come to this one instead!
Yes
They take great care in handling their food. They do not have gluten-free flour tortillas but they do have gluten-free corn tortillas. They'll make almost any dish with the corn tortillas.
Not all the workers seem know about the gf protocols but when they do, they are very good at following them; changing their gloves, getting certain foods from the original containers etc.

I had a sweet pork salad. The person that helped me wasn’t sure about my questions but the shift manager helped out. Gloves changed, one person took my order through the whole line. Fryer is GF and tortilla strips are safe.
Only thing in the restaurant with gluten are the flour tortillas. Watch your food and it looks at least as safe as Chipotle…honestly maybe a bit safer because they use utensils for lettuce and cheese where other places use gloves.
