Great experience! First spoke to girl at register and she already knew about gluten and said yes they know how to handle "gluten allergy". So i went to the guy at the counter and just said i have 2 orders and both have a gluten allergy. He immediately changed his gloves without being asked. After confirming what i wanted, he asked if i was okay with it going through the oven. He was careful not to let the chips touch anything, and also laid one special green chip on top -- i assume this must be their code for gluten allergy. Then when it went to the next lady, same thing, i said gluten allergy and she changed her gloves and was very careful. Both of us have celiac and both felt fine afterward! And it was delicious!

NOT gluten free and NOT safe for Celiac. Staff was totally clueless on what was gluten free. When questioned on their shared preparation surfaces and shared flat top, they tried to assure me that “…heat kills gluten”. Spoiler alert, it doesn’t.

This restaurant has a great selection of gluten-free items on the menu and promptly cleans/changes gloves when you mention gluten-free. They do grab out of the same containers, but they will get toppings from the extra storage underneath if you request. If that occurs, I would say it’s safe from cross-contamination. I’m not celiac, so I’ve not asked them to do that often.

From their allergen list: We have worked diligently to remove wheat gluten from all our sauces, dressings, and proteins. Natural glutens remain only in our flour and wheat tortillas and in two desserts--tres leches and key lime pie. This means that we offer "oceans of gluten-free options" in our menu. All of these items are gluten-free: all enchiladas, all tacos, all salads (without the flour or wheat tortilla), all nachos, and our chicken tortilla so up...which uses corn strips.
Never had a problem eating here. They are very cautious. They all change their cloves when prepping the food.
Food was OK. Staff has some training regarding GF and allergen concerns but it's largely ceremonial. Yes, everyone changes their gloves the second you mention GF. It's a nice gesture. However, all ingredients are pulled from bins by hand, and the same press and comal are used for both corn and flour tortillas. I had a sweet pork bowl, and I did not get a reaction, but this is flirting with danger for me and I probably won't try them again.

Website had info on what was safe, most of it was. Worker happily changed gloves and went slow to be careful and avoid cross contamination. Some said sauces were spicy but I didn't feel that way. They will give you a chip to try sauces before they put it on your food. So if you're worried about that, try them first. 7 year old celiac daughter was very happy and ate her veggie enchiladas up!

well trained staff and great food. I have never had issues with spicy food and was very happy that they immediately changed gloves when I told them I needed gluten free. I will be a frequent customer
Very good food! You need to ask the manager which sauces and dressings are gluten and MSG free and make sure they check. I am very sensitive and rarely have any type of reaction when I eat here.

The staff is trained well with gluten free food handling. I rated it lower because the food was much spicier than many Mexican food places I've eaten at. It caused other gut issues and isn't worth going back. A bust for me but could be a great option for others
There are lots of options, and The food was delicious.
Everything gluten free but tortilla and deserts.
Yes
Not all the workers seem know about the gf protocols but when they do, they are very good at following them; changing their gloves, getting certain foods from the original containers etc.

I had a sweet pork salad. The person that helped me wasn’t sure about my questions but the shift manager helped out. Gloves changed, one person took my order through the whole line. Fryer is GF and tortilla strips are safe.
Only thing in the restaurant with gluten are the flour tortillas. Watch your food and it looks at least as safe as Chipotle…honestly maybe a bit safer because they use utensils for lettuce and cheese where other places use gloves.
