A little disappointed with the options here. There is only one entree I can safely eat gluten free at this establishment- Grilled Chicken Tenderloins, with a few safe sides (usually I choose green beans and corn).
GF options are extremely limited here because almost everything is breaded, fried or is thickened with flour.
Cross contamination is possible.
Anyone who is Celiac should not eat here.

Waiter was very knowledgeable about gluten but the menu is very sparse. It only contains eggs, salad or vegetables.
When asked for, manager quickly found a gluten free menu. Ordered a grilled chicken salad, without croutons. It came with croutons. Waitress apologized and offered to fix it. Average.
When asked if GF Menu available I was given a 15 page spieal bound book listing every food item Doan the left side and 12 or more "allergens" as a header row across (spreadsheet style chart) I t would an hour with a magnifying glass to read that entire thing, very awkward and k.poisibke to be of any use to me. I asked about individual items.
This is a last resort restaurant IMO. I should have kept the"book" at the table as I am pretty sure the fried apples were in a flour based sauce.

I can't say I would recommend eating at a cracker barrel if you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity, but they do have options should you need them. They have an allergen menu on their website with some gluten free items, but there is still a high risk of cross-contact.
I only ordered a side of mashed potatoes to be safe. Explained to the staff that I have celiac disease and the importance of no cross-contact. I didn't have a reaction.

They do offer a gluten free menu and have a lot of gluten free items. I’m always a little cautious since they do such a high volume of food. No gluten free breads.

Absolutely a pain to eat here. Even with the allergen menu, the risk of cross contamination is very high.

I am not celiac and don’t have to worry about contamination, but I still had a pretty bad experience. There is no meal on the menu that doesn’t include something with gluten. I asked to substitute the biscuits in the meal I was ordering for another side. The waitress said they couldn’t do that and she said they could give me the gravy on the side as if that made a difference. I ended up just giving the biscuits to someone I was with and paying extra to get a different side for myself. It was very disappointing that they had such a lack of understanding about gluten allergies.
