Not recommended for celiac's. I was turned away.

this was the best pizza i’ve ever had since being diagnosed. i was actually scared eating it because usually gluten free things don’t taste that good, but this one did! the manager and chef both came out to assure me it was gluten free. the menu does say not to eat there if you have celiac but these reviews had me pretty sure it would be gluten free and i’m pretty sensitive to gluten as well so this was very great. i had one of my gluten eating family members try my pizza and they said they couldn’t tell a difference!! i highly recommend going here if you’re in or near downtown (we were about 30 miles away and the drive was totally worth it!) you can get literally any pizza on the menu gluten free!

This is honestly the best gluten free pizza crust I have ever eaten (even the gluten-eating member of our party loved the GF crust). It has the chewy texture, air pockets, and wood-oven taste of the gluten-containing pizza I remember having in Italy pre-celiac diagnosis. The toppings (especially the fresh mozzarella) were also high quality and delicious, and the staff seemed knowledgable about ingredients and cross-contamination. I’ve eaten here several times with other highly sensitive celiacs and we’ve never gotten sick.

We had some of the best, if not the best, gluten free pizzas we’ve ever had before here. They were fantastic. Two with celiac and one gluten sensitive in our party of four. No one had a reaction, and my mom, who isn’t gluten free, enjoyed our gluten free pizzas as much as we did. They didn’t taste gluten free either.

I’ve been a diagnosed celiac for 18 years, and this was the BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever eaten. It was puffy, fluffy, and filled with air pockets. If you are in San Antonio, you must eat here. Even my picky, gluten loving husband thought my pizza was amazing.

Stop if you are a symptomatic celiac! They might use a different small space in their kitchen for rolling your dough but they use the same instruments to put in and move the pizza in the oven. The oven is a shared space as well. I was sick for 2-3 days after eating here.

I called ahead for a pizza and as a celiac the anxiety of eating out is very real. When I spoke with the hostess about the conditions where they will make the pizza, I seemed to be educating her.
As most restaurants, they do a good job of providing a disclaimer, however the disclaimer was made in a way that we don’t want your business. To expand, hostess or waitress stated more than once that they cannot be sure about the precautions the cooks take. Hmmm, you offer a service and as a customer I would think they would try and lay out the precautions, not lay it out in a way that the made it sound as if the cooks would not take precautions because it was as busy.
Maybe they didn’t need the biz?!?

Dough has fantastic GF bread and pizza, server was very knowledgeable about food allergies and provided me with options immediately when I told him I had celiac. Both the pizza and bread were fantastic, we just need a franchise in Pittsburgh now!

This Gluten sensitive pizza crust was hands down the best I have ever had!!! I called the server back to double check it was actually gluten sensitive and he laughed because he gets that all the time! I savored every single bite. If not GF celiac but sensitive... This is awesome pizza crust.

Y’all. Best GF pizza. It’s CHEWY ON THE INSIDE. Their prep stand was a little scary at first but I could watch it from my table and they were very diligent about keeping things separate.

I ate at the one on south Alamo street, while there weren’t different size pizzas like reviews for this one states the pizza crust itself was AMAZING. Perfectly cooked actual crust not just a piece of paper thin “crust”. I’m only here a week but I’m definitely coming back here again.
