One of the best dinners I have ever eaten! Yes, the chef can take any tempura is a dish and replace it with rice flour--but yes, they do not have a separate fryer for gluten-free items. However, many dishes already are or can be modified to be gluten-free without the risk of fryer cross-contamination. My boyfriend (also gf) got the "Off The Hook Rockafeller". The catch of the day was grouper. I got the Steak & Frites, without the Guiness sauce. We shared the daily special appetizer: an amazing watermelon salad, as well as Sour Cherry Sorbet and Creme Brûlée for dessert. We had a lovely time and our server was very knowledgeable and comfortable filling our GF orders.
They do not do fish and chips GF anymore because they did not know they couldn't be fried in the same oil. The options were very limited and the staff were not completely knowledgable.Be very aware
No
Gluten free fish and chips!!!
I have eaten here many timed and This restaurant happily adjusts their recipes to accommodate my gluten allergy. For example they fried oysters in corn flour once and easily can eliminate or swap out a sauce. I do not know if they could accommodate someone with celiacs.
