I thought I would try it out based on the fact that the last reviews were old. The food might be great but I will never know. When I began to ask the server about celiac friendly accommodation they asked us not to eat there. We were in and out in under 5 mins. Don’t even bother trying.

I did some preliminary research before dining here and was a bit worried about their GF handling, based on negative reviews of some people getting sick. I emailed the restaurant and informed them of my severe dietary restriction and safety concerns. The owner got back to me promptly with a long thoughtful response. She reassured me their dedication and efforts to providing safe GF food. Though they are not a 100% GF facility, they “do not take this [gluten allergies] lightly and always perform their best knowledge to prevent any cross contamination”.

When I arrived and notified the staff of my allergy, they immediately knew who I was/were expecting me as they knew the situation already (a show of good communication). They explained the GF options in the menu and even checked if my cocktail was GF before ordering.

I managed to order 2 noodle dishes, Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew (made with GF soy sauce), and a GF bbq chicken starter that came with Papaya Salad and steamed rice. All three dishes were so delicious and satisfying! Although they weren’t the more unique dishes, I was still able to enjoy the classic noodles as I would with normal Thai takeout but GF!

It’s been 4 hours since the meal and no sick feeling, no reaction. I guess being adamant and extra cautious ensures a safe dining experience overall! I will mention, they did have a “Nima Tested” sticker on their window basically proving their foods tested GF, which provided more reassurance.

5 of their gluten free labeled dishes failed Nima. Not celiac friendly.

While there is a gluten-free menu, I left here feeling very sick. I explained that I had celiac to the staff and the reassured me they could make everything I ordered gluten-free. Guess that wasn't the case.

I don't understand this place. I saw it was rated well for gluten free and usually I can easily order curry at a Thai restaurant and be great. I sat down with a friend and had a regular menu before I realized that their gluten free menu must be separate. I looked through it before waiting (quite a while) for someone to come back so I could ask about gf options/gf menu. I can usually guess what's gf on a menu and so I looked at the curries and what had rice noodles- the usual. When they came back with a gf menu, I was shocked that the curries were not on there, but I was shocked to see that pad see ewe was on the gf menu. When the waiter came back I asked if there was gf soy sauce and that was how they made it gf, and he said no, that they just used light soy sauce... obviously he didn't understand what gf meant, so I asked if I was able to speak with the manager. The manager was very nice, but he said that they did not have gf soy sauce and that they just made the dish with no soy sauce. I asked then why the curry wasn't on the gf menu and he said that they add flour to it. I was so confused and my celiac alarm was going off. My friend said that she was so worried I would get sick that she would let the wait staff know that we would be leaving. I honestly don't know what's up with this place, but I don't trust that they have a clue about keeping celiacs safe.
