I have celiac disease, this place was delicious and the employees were very knowledgeable! Felt safe eating the chicken Sandwich with the best gluten free bun I have ever tried! I would not have know it was gluten free had they not clarified and my family had gluten buns which looked different!

Establishment was incredibly knowledgeable about cross contamination. Everything (except for a gluten bun option) is gluten free! And delicious!

This is a MUST-VISIT for incredible gluten free chicken sandwiches! They also have awesome rice chicken bowls but I haven’t tried those yet.
It was very recently converted to 98% gluten free per the owner. I’m SUPER sensitive celiac and had no problems at all. It’s inside a cafe with several other restaurants (hold your breath past the pizza place lol), but there’s tons of seating and a great atmosphere. Live music Thursdays and Sundays! (jazz on Thursdays from 7-10, blues Sundays)
Most importantly, the food is GREAT and SAFE!!! The owner really understands cross contamination, the fryers are all dedicated, and last I checked the only things that aren’t GF are regular buns for non GF folk, but they take every precaution to prevent CC.
Per the owner on a GF CO Springs FB group, here’s some info about their buns & other allergies for out of town folk who can’t access the page:
Buns are from a dedicated GF bakery in town. They SMACK dude, but do contain certified gluten free oat flour for those sensitive to oats. I believe they’re pre-packaged, so if you’re super sensitive to oats you’ll probably be all good and they have plenty of options that don’t have buns.
The owner stated in Feb ‘24 the other allergens you may encounter: **but said to call first to check**
Dairy
Soy oil
Nuts
Garlic
Onion
Fish and/or seafood
Enjoy a great spot run by great folks who understand and support the celiac/gluten intolerant community 🤟

Amazing food, friendly staff and from what I recall almost everything is or can be glutrn free! Upchsrd for GF bun but they support the local Outside The Breadbox bakery so I was happy to pay the upcharge. No reaction at all! Will be back!

I had heard rumor of the great gluten-free options but was nonetheless blown away at the quality when I finally tried it. Best chicken sandwich I’ve had in Colorado Springs, hands-down.
Moose, the cook, understands what service means and had my entire meal completed in less than 4-minutes, as he assured me he would. The tater-tots, fried in gluten-free cooking oil, did not disappoint.
Avenue 19, the venue, is a lovely spot with a great floor plan and acoustics that keep it from becoming too loud, even when packed.
Highly recommend the whole experience.
But keep Moose on his toes and challenge him to beat 3-minutes on ‘your’ sandwich!

Absolutely amazing! Definitely supporting this hidden gem as it won’t be hidden for long. It is a must try if you miss chicken sandwiches being celiac or just gluten free. 10/10 and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Cashier was very knowledgeable about what was gluten free and the dedicated friers. The wings are not GF yet.

Now 95% GF (everything except their regular buns and wraps, and some of their sauces)
They just converted ALL of their fried chicken to GF. So now both their fryers are GF, they already had a dedicated GF fryer for their tots.
They have a dedicated grill for GF items, and they have GF buns from Outside the Breadbox (vegan oat).
*caution for those extra-sensitive to air quality, you have to walk by Upstate Pizza to get to Firebird (inside, similar to a mall food court)
