Not a great experience. Asked if they had gluten free options and the girl stared at me weird and then said yeah they do. I asked if they could change gloves and keep food separate while preparing and they said yes but didn’t communicate it to the back people. They didn’t change gloves and they prepared the lettuce burger with a regular bun burger side by side. Didn’t feel confident in no cross contamination.

I’ve gone here several times and haven’t gotten sick. They don’t have GF buns, but the lettuce wrap burger is really good. Fries are also GF, but not the fry sauce. I’ve watched a manager train new employees on cross contamination and felt they did a great job.

They do NOT have buns. They do NOT have fries. They do NOT change their gloves. She tried to sell me fries even after saying gf burger, so I'm glad I asked if those were gluten free. No one seemed to care. You can get lettuce-wrapped.
No
Tasty! But don't have the fry sauce! They told me it was NOT GF.
I almost died of joy when my husband told me that everything but the buns were gluten free. I love their burgers and fries. However, for those with higher sensitivity, I believe they use malt vinegar in their fries. Sometimes I'm fine, sometimes I have a reaction. So double check with the staff.
They were great about making sure that my food was safe. Prep and cooking done in very well.... And it tasted great!
The usual celiac five guys experience. Staff is well trained and can do a lettuce wrapped bun. Fries in dedicated fryer. Obviosuly not as safe as a sit down restaurant especially if busy but I had no issues.

I love Five Guys! No, they don't have a GF bun but the burger in a lettuce wrap is so delicious that I don't miss the bun at all. They have a separate grill for the buns so the burgers will not have CC and as long as you let them know you have celiac or are intolerant they will change gloves and take precautions. They also have a dedicated fryer so the fries are safe too! Yummm!

Separate fryer for fries. Very careful when preparing a burger and putting it in a bowl. No GF buns. Tell them you have an allergy. They will change gloves. Eaten here many times and have not been glutened

My first visit here so I asked a few questions: they do have a dedicated fryer, they do have separate grill areas to cook buns and to cook meat, and they will change gloves to make your burger. I told them I had a “gluten allergy” asked for a burger “bunless” (as written on the menu) and he asked if I’d like it in a lettuce wrap instead, and I said yes. This Five Guys is very small and you can see every part of the cooking and wrapping process. When I went to wait for my food I mentioned my gluten allergy to the cook too. He prepared my lettuce wrap in a different part of the counter, and then after handling some buns for another order, promptly changed his gloves to wrap my burger. It was nice to be able to stand there and communicate with him and be able to watch. Fries were great, love to see a dedicated fryer!
It seemed like there could be potential for cross contamination with a lot of toppings so I just stuck with cheese. Heads up that they use peanut oil in the fryer and have loose peanuts to eat while you’re waiting so this is a no go for anyone with peanut allergies!
