Everyone was very friendly and the food was amazing. They brought out the GF items first wearing gloves and were very conscious about gluten safety.

We drove from Greensboro (45min) to have a quaint GF breakfast. google said the establishment maybe closed call to confirm. The answering machine stated Tuesday - Friday. I excitedly hung up the phone dreaming of some GF pancakes. We get there and after ten minutes of waiting for the host she asks for our room number. We explained we did not have a room. Oh we are closed to the public. But I called to confirm I pleaded. My hubby asked if they could make an exception. After all there were 4 cars in the parking lot and 1 table that was just paying their bill. Empty. “No sorry we can not sorry about that. “ “But your phone message….” Interrupted she replies, ya, it’s wrong. Sorry about that. “ With my maple syrup in tow. We left. Lesson learned. Call and talk to a real live person to find out the hours for the public. Secondly, what is exactly was she sorry about?

Excellent experience. Staff was extremely helpful and aware of Celiac and proper precautions. They have a wide variety of gluten free options including pancakes, French toast, etc. they even accommodated my daughter’s request for gf grilled cheese, which is not on the menu. And our server Mackenzie had them remake it when they accidentally brought out her sandwich on the same platter as the other food. Staff wore gloves when bringing her food. We will definitely come back!

This restaurant is located inside a beautiful must see historic property. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is modern yet has amazing historic architecture. However, the highlight for someone with celiac is the food. The waitress and the manager were exquisitely knowledgeable and able to offer many wonderful options. Not even a trace of issues after. I always bring my pocket tester too which showed zero trace of gluten. Highly recommended this for anyone, but especially for someone with celiac. Of note they do events and weddings too!
