Review of Gallaghers Boxty House

20-21 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, Ireland

Overall Rating

Review

A good meal in a major tourist zone of Dublin. We grabbed one of the sharing platters for a quick lunch. Our waiter let us know that the meal was safe for Celiacs, and the menu was clearly labeled. Enjoyed that it was a family-owned restaurant, even though it felt a bit like being in Times Square. (Also, boxty refers to a traditional Irish potato pancake.) I wouldn’t eat there a second time, but it was an easy, enjoyable bite in the middle of the day.
