I was informed there was no guarantee about avoiding cross contamination. Both waitress and cook did not seem very confident they could ensure my meal would be truly gluten free. Hard pass for this celiac.
They had udis bread which I did not have, but someone in my party had who was not celiac just prefers to avoid gluten. As many of us celiacs know udis isn't the greatest.
Establishment is NOT safe for celiac customers.

I’m gluten sensitive and had no problems with the food I was served. We really enjoyed our meal at this quaint restaurant. They bake their GF bread from scratch and it was delicious.

I visited on a Sunday towards they end of the brunch rush. I ordered gf pancakes after inquiring about prep and precautions. The waitress cautioned me that they make no guarantees which I’m used to as a CYA statement. But she came back a bit later and flat out told me I shouldn’t risk eating anything because the cook couldn’t be trusted to avoid cross-contamination. She (the cook) seemed to be overwhelmed and cantankerous. They let the rest of my family eat for free (my sister said it was the best omelette she’d ever had) and gave me directions to the nearest grocery store.
Our waitress and the owner couldn’t have been nicer or more apologetic, but it was a big disappointment. Still, I appreciate their caution and honesty.
Great GF experience! They were knowledgeable and accommodating to celiac and the food was amazing. I had overeasy eggs with GF toast, the kids had GF French toast and hubby had bistro skillet. Every one practically licked their plates clean!

First & foremost: celiac friendly. GF bread available, but not toast (don’t have separate unit). They have several Celiac regulars. Be sure to mention as you choose menus items. Separate prep available.
Very personable and real staff. Not a “plastic” or faked feeling from my conversations with them. Great humor. Quaint and pleasant atmosphere. Counter stools, Med & small tables. Plenty of S & W facing windows.
Breakfast potatoes to die for: with or w/o ketchup (made w/ local maple syrup. Bacon is great. For hosting can have it, buttermilk pancake is fantastic-haven’t tasted like this since I left home on the farm 30-some years ago!
Very good food & quantity for the $.
