Guaco Taco

I’m surprised by the 5 star ratings on here. The food was very average. I had the BLT taco and Cali taco. Ok flavor, bacon tasted stale.

Amazing! Tons of flavor! I have celiac and this place was awesome. I was worried because the atmosphere is kinda of gimmicky but the food was packed with flavor! And their homemade salsa’s were amazing. Eat here!!!!!!

Dedicated gluten free facility with excellent food. They can also accommodate dairy allergies well by removing dairy products. The food was excellent and reasonably priced too!

Everything here is gluten free. Crispy taco shells, chips, even what appeared to be a flour tortilla for my daughters quesadilla. It had an interesting texture and really great flavor. The chips and crispy taco shells were flaky and so good! The only thing that wasn’t great was the rice. It was undercooked and had a very Tex mex flavor I wasn’t a fan of. Coleslaw was good though, with a kick. Dessert was a prepackaged brownie and a cup of bluebell ice cream. The ice cream isn’t great.

Place is great for those with Celiac. I have dairy allergy too and they just adapted tacos accordingly. Just be sure to communicate with your waitress.

very friendly staff. when i asked the man said they don’t use any flour, but still double checked to make sure i could eat what i ordered. he also made sure no dairy got on my food, and even let me know what he removed dairy from so i would know next time. they have gluten free brownies at the counter, and those also have no dairy. their sauces are also made fresh daily in a gluten free environment. i am so glad to finally find a place i didn’t get sick at, i will definitely be eating here again.

Everything is gluten free?! Yep! I tried it with my husband tonight. We got nachos, the 5 layer tacos and a veggie taco. I really, really liked it. Better than Torchy's and as good as Taco Deli in my opinion.

Best place to go for a quick gluten free bite!

Holy taco! This is my new, hands down, favorite fast/casual place in town. They will see me at LEAST once, if not two or three times a week. The ENTIRE menu is GF. It’s super fresh, clean, well priced, and DEEEEELISH! My new go-to spot!

Everything we have eaten here has been delicious. This is a dedicated facility, and it is nice to know I can have everything!!!! This is also the first restaurant in the history of our family that all 4 of us agree on, and look forward to!

We drove to Cedar Park last night to check out GUACO TACO. I had the original beef taco and 5 layer chicken taco. Both were yummy! And the shells....oh my! The sauces were also very good. It’s a GF, sit down, “fast food”, but really good. My daughter ordered cheese quesadillas, which were good, but very small (only 4 small slices). My husband, who has no issues with gluten, but who is low carbing for 30 days, had the taco salad with carnita. What a disappointment! Literally a tablespoon size of shredded pork in a small bowl of iceberg lettuce and a little cheese!😳 My daughter and I have Celiac and had no issues.

Everything here is so amazing! The fried corn shells and chips come dusted with Parmesan but you can request both without. I tried the Shrimp and Wild Flounder fish taco and my husband had a 5-layer, Sloppy Texan and a Pork Carnitas taco. The guacamole is made to order and everything uses fresh ingredients. Dedicated gluten free facility.

Everything is GF here, the tacos are only made with corn tortillas. I had a beef taco which was super yummy. My husband had the Mexican gumbo which had SO much flavor. At our table, friends also had the shrimp tacos, taco salad, and nachos, all which were really good with tons of flavor. Great place for Celiacs for safe, flavorful food.

Celiac safe. The owner does not allow gluten in the restaurant. Great taco joint, and the Mexican gumbo has a lot of flavor. The sauces are made in house, and are very good. The mango has a sneaky heat that will come up and surprise you, and is great! If you are a celiac, this place is safe and great!

Simple, unadorned, delicious food that was safe for my Celiac wife. Great value at reasonable prices. A little difficult to locate if you're not familiar with the area, but well worth the search. Loved the chicken taco as well as the BLT taco...tastes as good as it sounds. Told them they needed to offer a smoked brisket taco as well! I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Everything is gluten free! EVERYTHING!!! I was beyond excited to learn that the chips are fried and I can eat them! Went a little crazy and tried a little of this and that. So good and safe for those of us celiacs.

This is a new Gluten free restaurant in Cedar Park. The only thing with gluten is the beer. The guacamole was wonderful. I enjoyed eating in freedom! What a treat!

This place is amazing! I have Celiac and I have eaten here several times without a problem. I have them omit the Parmesan dusting of the corn tortillas. I love the shrimp and vegetarian tacos. My son (also Celiac) enjoyed the beef and chicken tacos. My non-Celiac spouse loves the tacos, too. The gumbo is delicious. So great to have a gf safe restaurant in Cedar Park.

New taco place in Cedar Park. Spoke with the owner. Not a drop of flour in the restaurant. Taco seasoning homemade- every ingredient safe. Only corn tortillas and safe. Very helpful with all of my questions. Celiac daughter is happy happy. All the tacos are crunchy. Delicious- have a Parmesan dusting on taco shells
