The main menu has a section of all of their gluten-free fried items as well as desserts. They specifically mark on the rest of the menu what specifically has wheat and what’s gluten-free. We had the fried cod, haddock, chips and onion rings. Dedicated fryer using (I believe) rice flour- tasted delicious, couldn’t even tell the difference! My son, who’s allergic to wheat, didn’t have any reactions, so we’re pretty confident in their procedures to limit cross contamination. Definitely recommend, and so happy and thankful for Find Me Gluten Free and the FMGF community to point us here so that our son could enjoy an authentic British meal!

Good variety on the gluten free menu, including different types of fish and even apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Onion rings are delicious! Not many tables so try to book. Avoid sitting at the back of the restaurant which is cold in the winter.

As a very sensitive Celiac, I have to test all of my food before I eat it. When my husband and I arrived, it seemed like no one working here wanted to be here or wanted customers. Despite our hesitation, we still tried the GF fish and chips. Both the fish and fries came back with gluten after NIMA testing it twice. I was super disappointed based on the rave reviews, but I am glad that others are having better luck!

It was very good. So many options. Beware, the beer is gluten removed not actually gf (2nd ingredient is barley malt). But I had no reaction to the food. All the sides (including fries) are gf!!

Amazing gluten free fish and chips along with other fried goodies. I got the onion rings and French fries. They have separate fryers and was delicious! I did not get sick. They are knowledgable about celiac and have everything clearly marked.

We had been highly recommended to try Hobson’s in London. Having moved from New Zealand to the US, our celiac daughter was desperate for good fish and chips. This did not disappoint!!! Beautiful food and lots of it! They really understand GF and separate preparation. The GF menu options are plentiful.
My only advice is “go early”! We arrived about 6pm and scored a table in 5-10 minutes. When we left, the queue was 10 people deep.

Excellent! Besides being delicious, menu was well marked and the server made a point to call out the “GF” portion of the order when it was brought out. Also, a rich and flavorful GF Daura Damm lager to accompany the meal. This is your GF fish & chips stop in Notting Hill!

Halfway through eating the gluten free fish and chips that I ordered I found out that the server actually brought me the wrong order and gave me the regular fish. I’m so disappointed since there were so many good reviews of this place and when they replaced my order with actual gf fish it was pretty good. The manager was very apologetic and I feel like this was a one off but I would recommend double checking before actually eating your food that is the right order.

My celiac girl was so happy to try fish & chips, a typical English dish. The service was very kind. My girl feels well after the meal. She is quite sensitive to gluten , so I think it was not contaminated. If you are a tourist and would like to taste, I recommend a visit ( take away is also available).
