When I notified the cooks that I'm gluten free, they cleaned the grill with a pumice, kept my food separate and had dedicated utensils just for my order. I really appreciated the steps they took to avoid cross-contamination. They don't have Tamari sauce, just regular soy sauce, so next time I'll bring my own.
we ate there last night. was very careful with what we ordered and my husband still got sick. food was good but serious problem with cross contamination with non gluten free foods. will never go back
Cooks had ample knowledge of gluten allergy/Celiac disease. They clean the grill with a cleaner and a pumice stone tool that scrapes all the junk off. He was very nice and willing to help you out. Then they use separate utensils that stay with your food the whole time it's cooking. Other dishes don't touch yours. I felt satisfied and not sick when I left! The cook and the manager even personally came and checked on me! Now that's service!

HuHot does not have a gluten free menu but does have an allergen list and a list of gluten free sauces. Ask them to clean a spot on the grill and use different utensils, if necessary.
Tasty food, we love date night here once and a while! GF option is rice noodles then veggies and meat and sauces. They will clean the grill and separate your food from others if you make them aware of a gluten allergy.

From start to finish the care I received was absolutely phenomenal! Veggies were separate from meats and noodles. Crab has gluten but we know that so don’t get that or the noodles. They gave me a designated bowl to collect my items and placed bars around my food after literally scrubbing the grill. I had my rice to mix at the table and even got seconds!

They have great protocols set up for allergies. They were happy to grab fresh bins of ingredients out of the back for us. My only hesitation was that all the sauces were out in one area together. If they had the GF sauces set to one side together, it would definitely have made me feel better. None of us got sick, but next time I will probably ask if there are new sauces in their chill room.

Hi Hot is a great way to fill up if you like stir-fry. They have rice noodles, fresh meats and veggies and lots of sauce options that are gluten free. Everything is labeled with allergen warnings as well as gluten-free. If you let them know you are a gluten-free customer they will clean the grill and generously keep other foods away from yours as it cooks.
