The menu was marked with Gluten free options and the waitress was knowledgeable on what could be adapted to make something I wanted gluten free . Our main Dish was the Chicken fricassee and I was to die for!! We will definitely eat there again.

I heard this place was safe for celiacs, so I was excited - unfortunately it is not safe at all. When I got here and explained that I have a severe gluten allergy to the waiter (I find it’s easier to describe it as an allergy because cross contamination is similar with celiac), the waiter very rudely said I’d “be fine.” He was extremely aggressive despite my politeness and he kept saying I’d be “fine because they don’t have much gluten on the menu” despite me saying that I cannot have any cross contamination and trying to kindly explain. I asked if the chef knows about cross contamination and could change their gloves, and he said (with such a rude tone of voice) that “they cannot change their gloves after making meals,” but that I’d “be fine.” I tried to explain that I wouldn’t be fine due to my allergy, but he insisted that I would be fine because they don’t have many gluten items on their menu. I tried to be very polite even though he had a very rude tone of voice, and he even rolled his eyes at me. Of course I was terrified to eat the food and upset that he was being so rude (even though I was trying so hard to be kind), so I asked to speak to the chef. He said I could not speak to the chef (which seemed odd), so then I asked to speak to the manager. He said he’d try to get the manager, but that she might be too busy to talk. The manager did come over and was very polite, but she said it is not safe to eat here because the ovens are shared with the bread and because there could be cross contamination in the kitchen. I was very appreciative that she was honest about that! They do have gluten items on the menu, including bread that contains gluten. There is no parking in this area, the waiter was so rude and dismissive despite me trying to explain how cross contamination could put me in the hospital (because I am a sensitive celiac), and it ruined my whole night. I would not recommend this at all to anyone with celiac or anyone at all because the waiter was so rude. We tried other restaurants in Miami that were great, and this wasn’t it at all!! I left sad and very hungry. :( I wish I had gone back to The Bazaar in Miami Beach instead of this horrible restaurant.
