I was so excited to go here after lots to f hype but I was very disappointed. Maybe I got there too late in the afternoon but there was very little to choose from. Ended up with a couple GF bagels that were hard. Bummed about this one.

Libby’s is a must stop in London. I've been waking up early to schlep across London for their pasties since they only had their Notting Hill branch - how far they've come!
Do note: There are three locations, though Belsize Park is generally considered the flagship. Their menu offerings are the most extensive at this location, with a wider variety of pastries and cafe items. This is why I'm reviewing Belsize Park.
Their kitchen is entirely gluten free, as are all of their pastries and cafe items. They even now import certified gluten free Oatly from the US! Previously they did not use any added sugar, though now bake with a "responsible level" of sugar. Their staff, and the owners (Libby's is named for their daughter!), are all lovely people. You'll feel right at home.
What to get? Obviously the croissant, the pain au chocolat, the cinnamon roll, and don't miss the bagels - seriously, I rate these the best gluten free bagels on this side of the Atlantic. I think they briefly stopped making pizza to accommodate demand for pastries in Herne Hill, but be sure to order one when they're back. Their blueberry cheesecake pastry buns are a bite of heaven, as well.

Bagels were fantastic and so were the cookie brownies. Croissants were OK and the red velvet cake was one of the worst cakes I've had. I was quite disappointed after all the hype.

Fantastic cafe and bakery: it’s 100% gluten free - completely liberating going there as a coeliac and knowing you can eat EVERYTHING on the menu. The food is also excellent, ranging from savoury (bagels, pizzas, breakfasts) through to sweet (cakes, pastries, desserts) and their sourdough loaves are fantastic. Highly recommend their croissants: they are absolutely amazing, and made this coeliac tearful after 15 years since diagnosis and the first croissant since then. A really great place - a must for all coeliacs to visit in London.

This was my first stop for breakfast after landing in London, and it did not disappoint. The facility is 100% gluten-free and the staff were happy to answer all of my questions. It was fun to see that they were serving mince pies, as it was the holidays. I ordered the pain au chocolat as well as the regular croissant, and they were both incredible.

Wow! Honestly, I visited Libby’s 2x during a 3 day stay in London and I’d move here just for Libby’s… I tried: bagels (10/10), pain au chocolate (10/10), and some of the cake treats (more mid, like 5/10).
I absolutely loved the breakfast treats here. The bagels were lovely & chewy, the pain au chocolate melted in my mouth. Also loved that they were a dedicated GF bakery. I thought the staff was very knowledgeable & helpful and the ambiance of the bakery was exactly what I wanted on a chilly spring London morning.

After literally drooling over their Instagram account for the past 6 months, we went for brunch on Wednesday. Amazing croissant and granola bowl with fresh fruit washed down with delicious coffee. It was so nice to visit somewhere knowing it was safe. Lovely chatty staff - just wish this place was closer! I’ll try the online shop.

The pain au chocolat was amazing. Great to visit a totally gf cafe as a coeliac, not having to worry about cross contamination.. Staff were friendly but unfortunately the chef was off sick so not a full menu. I'd love to go back and try the pizza. The soughdough looked great.

Amazing! Had an issue with our order but they gave us free garlic bread and cake as an apology! The pizza and garlic bread is sooo delicious and they're not stingy with the smoked salmon on the bagel!

The entire establishment is gluten free. I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel for lunch-one of the best gf bagels I have eaten. The people at the next table were eating individual pizzas which also looked delicious. Recommended.

Incredible!! The pastry was unreal. I have never had a texture like this one - not dry, but still flaky. Amazing! Also the staff was just the best. They were so kind and we chatted for a while. Absolutely lovely experience. Thank you Libby’s!

I’ve had celiac for 15 years and this was the best croissant I’ve had in my life. The bagels—soft, chewy, crusty on the outside. Libby’s is a must if you’re in London!
