Lone Star Steakhouse

I called ahead and was ensured this restaurant was celiac friendly and had gluten free options. When I got there I found a gluten free menu that was limited and a wait staff, including a manager, that were not very knowledgable about cross contamination or exactly what items on the menu contained gluten. I only ordered a baked potato and grilled chicken breast, and they had a hard time with that. I will not be going back there. It seems as if they are trying to cater to a gluten free fad diet, which is fine, but be honest about it when someone calls ahead and explains they have celiac disease and can get very sick from gluten and cross contamination.

Staff was not friendly to my daughters food allergies. Was getting very frustrated with our questioning the menu. Would not eat here again and would not recommend

My husband has celiac disease and I am gluten intolerant and we love going to Lone Star in Knightdale! They offer an extensive gluten free menu, they are always sensitive to our needs, and we have never been glutened eating here! Our only request for them would be to offer a gluten free prime rib, my husband's favorite, as well as offering gluten free bread and desserts,
