They had the gluten-free bread I feel like they are known for. I ordered online and got it delivered but it was excellent as always.

No GF bread. Apparently they haven’t had any for some time. Got the 3-taster of shrimp, lobster and crab in plastic jars. Had to go back for butter and seasoning. Took forever to get it prepared. The lobster bisque was awesome but will never go back.

All locations should offer buttered, toasted gluten free hotdog buns. Lobster and seasoning are GF. Soups are GF. This specific location has french fries, and they are cooked in a dedicated fryer. You can call and confirm before you visit. When we mentioned our allergy, they told us they would chang gloves and sterilize the surfaces without us asking. Swoon!

I had the popcorn shrimp with fries and coleslaw. GF breading and dedicated fryer for all GF items. Sadly, The fried haddock and chicken are not gluten free. Their batter has gluten and is fried in a separate fryer.
This place is pricey but very good! It’s the second location I have eaten at. I also tried another location in DC. I have had the gluten free lobster roll, the gluten free Jonah crab roll, and the clam chowder. They were all excellent. The mochi-like buns are interesting, different, light and tasty. They do tend to crack down the middle but it was so good that I didn’t mind. The rolls are loaded with lobster and crab. The chowder is delicious even heated up the next day. I would go again for a special occasion.

Everything on the menu can be prepared gluten free! There fryers are all gluten free because they use a gluten free breading on all of their fried options. The staff was very knowledgeable and the food was great! Had the fried pickles and lobster roll flight, could not have been more happy!! Definitely would go back! Such an amazing view as well.

The staff was really nice and offered to clean the prep area before making my food when they were told it was for celiac. They didn’t seem put out by it at all and the food was delicious.

Overall, a fantastic experience. They offer gluten-free options using rice flour, which was a game-changer for me—I got to enjoy fried pickles again! The lobster roll was incredibly flavorful, and the gluten-free bun held up well, unlike others that tend to fall apart. Surprisingly, it was on the thicker side, but I didn't mind at all.
