Good gluten-free sandwiches and baked potatoes. However, at this location, the staff would always mess up part of our order and frequently put packaged gluten-y cookies in the gluten-free kid’s meal, so I’m not confident in their knowledge.

We eat at the McAlester’s all the time! Ask for the manager Rita. She is amazing and will take good care of you. We get sandwiches, baked potatoes and salads that are GF. They also have several GF/ DF options. Always a great experience.

Newer location with indoor and outdoor (both covered & uncovered) seating. Offer GF bread. The BLTA is a good choice. Both nachos are legal as long as you omit chili. Top with grilled chicken or the ham are both good substitutes. Most of the potatoes are legal, except for the one with beefsteak.
