Excellent pizza, very knowledgeable about their safety measures. Not a dedicated oven, but they were very aware and said owner’s daughter has celiac.

Be sure to wipe off your table with clean paper towels if you see crumbs - THEN ENJOY YOUR PIZZA!!!
Great gf - separate area to prepare gf pizza!
GF pizza was fantastic!! Husband enjoyed his Pikes Peak regular pizza. We ordered delivery to our hotel. I am extremely sensitive and have celiac disease. I did not get sick. Will order their pizza again when back in San Diego.

Ordered a gluten-free pizza for my husband, and a regular pizza for myself and the rest of our kids. Gluten-free pizza was packaged separately and my extremely sensitive son and husband had no reaction at all. They were thrilled to have safe pizza on vacation.

So many topping options! I ordered dine in.
Yes it took awhile- I think they were waiting for the next shift to arrive. I enjoyed watching the Padres while I waited.
My pizza arrived on a pan. The pan was covered with parchment paper. This is much safer than most pizza places.

DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely terrible customer service. I was told 25-35 minutes for pick up. It took over an hour and fifteen minutes. The pizza is just like Udi’s crust. I think people who have raved about the crust has never had gluten free crust from NYC. This is just like frozen pizza besides the fresh toppings. I think it was also not worth the price.
Yes
I did not enjoy this place. Unless you have five screaming kids to add to the crowd, i would pass. They wouldn't put parmesan on my pizza, they said that's not an option. There are no green options like spinach. The tables were piled with trash. It didn't feel clean. couldn't get out of here fast enough. I ate a few slices and waited in the car.
Such a treat to come to a pizza place with 100% positive reviews that it’s celiac safe! Mizael took the time to tell me he went through a EIGHT HOURS of training because someone in the owner’s family has celiac disease. But friends - it’s not a dedicated GF Resturant- so be sure your table is cleaned off when you sit down - I just grabbed some paper towels from the bathroom and removed the gluten crumbs from my table :)

The only place I trust for safe gluten free pizza in San Diego! The pizza is delicious, customer service is fantastic and I appreciate their dedication to providing 100% gluten free pizza!

Awesome GF pizza crust!!!! Crust does not get rock hard, which is not true of most GF crusts.

I found this restaurant very expensive for gf and only average for me.
Yummy! This place was amazing - the staff was knowledgable , the explanation of how they prepare the food was detailed and the care they took to make sure they got it right was impressive. The pizza was SO GOOD! They made us feel welcome from beginning to end and no one got sick. We will be going back for sure. Plus they have 3 different options for gluten free (not reduced/removed) beer. Thank you!

The only gluten free pizza that is safe for me to eat! They have an entirely separate kitchen space for gf prep, separate ingredients, and are well versed in preventing cross contamination. I’ve celiac and am super sensitive but regularly eat here/order delivery safely. The pizzas and gf sandwiches are delicious! They also have vegan cheese for those of us who also don’t do dairy. They have a great neighborhood pizza vibe, gluten free greens beers, and gluten reduced beers available too. Complete with a toy/book/play area for the kids makes it one of our favorite spots.

Celiac friendly and great place for the entire family. Special shout out to our server Danny (Annie?) she took really good care of us and went to great lengths to minimize any cross contamination and to make sure our order was right. Her bright and friendly personality and great service was refreshing. We will be back great GF Pizza 🍕 and a cold GF Beer 🍺 Awesome 👏

Best GF pizza since being diagnosed with celiac! Staff was knowledgeable & passionate about catering to the gf needs of celiacs. They willingly walked us through the kitchen prep process of their GF options & we’re able to answer all of my questions before I even had to ask. Well done!!

Mizael and his staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating! Our daughter has Celiac and we appreciate a restaurant that truly gets the gluten cross contamination issues. We were traveling here from the Midwest and were extremely pleased with the great tasting food and their attention to food preparation. I tried the gluten free pizza crust and loved it!!!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone who has gluten concerns. Be sure, as always, to let your server know about your allergies. They truly get it.
Awesome selection of gf foods. Staff was great and very helpful. Would come back!
We called ahead and the staff assured us they do their best to avoid cross contamination. When we got there we talked to Mizael and he said staff is trained 8 hours on how to handle gluten free food! Pizza was great! Definitely recommend if you are celiac!

Staff were very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free concerns. Pizza was very good.

I was really impressed on how well informed they are about cross-contamination and also that they give you a little story behind what made them go gluten free also their daughter is also Celiac, so I really trust their food and I keep coming back! LOVE this place
Yes
The staff was very knowledgeable about both being celiac friendly and dairy free. They have a separate preparation area and even a different area in their refrigerator for their gf items. They bring out a cutting board and fresh knife to cut allergy pizzas. I was super impressed, and it was really good pizza. My daughter devoured 2/3 of a personal sized pizza.

All GF items are good and no reactions even the sandwiches

Very friendly staff who explained that owner's daughter has celiac and they are very aware of cross contamination issues. They took it very seriously and I felt safe. I ordered gluten free pizza. Only comes in 10 inch size so be prepared for leftovers. Not a wow crust but good enough to enjoy eating out with my husband.
Yes
love it, they do vegan and gf. their daughter has celiac so they are fully aware how to protect against cross contamination.
One word. Ahhmazing! Seriously though, this pizza was so good we forgot it was gluten free. My husband and I ordered the GF Ricotta Margarita Pizza with Pesto Sauce and the GF Traditional Red Sauce Pizza with Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Bell Pepper and Black Olives. Both were so delicious. The staff was friendly and the place was busy for a Thursday night which in my book is a good sign. We will definitely be back!

OMG, so good...I had a gluten free Veggiemore, no red sauce, I had pesto instead...crust is thin and crisp! Great customer service!
Love this place! From Arizona but whenever we are in San Diego we always come here!

This is a chain with dozens of locations in California. The Mangrove parlor in Chico offers only one size of gluten free and it is fairly small. But it is quite tasty, particularly when ordered with pesto or garlic sauce. The best in town in my estimation. Pizza usually ready in 20 minutes.

They described their process as using new utensils and getting fresh ingredients from unopened bags to reduce cross contamination. My guts still unstable by travel but I enjoyed it! They helped make it dairy free for me as well.
Update: went back and they said they couldn’t make anything safe for me.

We visited here because we heard they have a gluten free crust. My child is gluten sensitive. They have a gluten-free 10-inch crust as well as a cauliflower crust option. They seemed knowledgeable enough and asked if we were gluten sensitive or had Celiac. They said they could make sure there was no cross contamination.
My kid had no issues after eating here.

Contaminated gluten free pizza! Front service was knowledgeable, typical "one small" gluten free pizza for $25. Kitchen staff changed gloves to box but then used common tools (pizza shovel and cutter). Got dosed with gluten, got sick from the cross contamination. They also make all their own dough except for the gluten free crust. Claimed to cook on a separate sheet. Pizza was only average, not worth trying again. Couldn't view most of kitchen prep etc. but there were so many employees for a dead wednesday afternoon (3:30pm). There was a definite language barrier (to the point phones were being used for translation) which only concerns me in that without any bi-lingual staff training on something like gluten free might be near impossible. They were real friendly but sorry to say this will always have a red flag and be a hard pass for me.
