My server was knowledgeable about gluten free and even steered me away from the pink lemonade I asked about because there is a food starch in it from an unspecified source on the box of mix they use. Between that and the fact they have a separate gluten free menu, I felt safe enough to order.
I ordered Alice Springs chicken, mashed potatoes, asparagus, a side of grilled shrimp, and a glass of water. My server caught that they put my GF side of grilled shrimp on a piece of bread and had them remake me shrimp before they even brought out our entrees.
All this made me feel like they know what they're doing. It was delicious. But, I started getting my gluten exposure symptoms on the way home. I tried to shrug it off, but when I was awoken in the early hours with more violent gluten exposure symptoms, I knew they'd gotten me with cross contact.
This has been exactly like when I was taken out by a single chocolate truffle that happened to have barley malt powder in it (realized it after the fact, totally my fault), so I know it's my glutened symptoms.
I've been so ill, that I will not risk eating at Outback again.

The manager, Jamie, was very good at making sure we had a successful gluten free dinner. My daughter loved her food and we even had a gluten free dessert! Great job, Outback in Rock Hill

I was brought a GF menu & there were lots of choices on there. However when my dinner was served, the shrimp was on a big piece of bread. No bueno. No reactions to the meal, so that’s a plus.

Knowledgeable, accommodating & happy to answer questions. Alexander did an excellent job, taking special care to tend to my requests. Victoria steak, cooked in al foil, uncut sw potato & salad no croutons. Gf dessert too YAY!

They have a gluten free menu. The server was extremely helpful and understanding. This place was definitely celiac friendly.

They were great about watching for cross contamination and brought my plate out separately from my family's. They didn't really have many menu options that weren't steak, but I ordered the grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and side Ceasar salad. The food was really bland, and the mashed potatoes were worse than school lunches in the 80s. They were flavorless, almost translucent, and disappointing. The chicken was decent but not my favorite. I had better food at another steakhouse chain.

Outback as a chain has always been safe for me. I order the grilled chicken on the barbie with double veggies and have never had a reaction, including at this location!

I ate here twice while I was in town. They note the GF allergy for the kitchen and when they bring it to the table the server knew it was designated GF
