Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful steaks and accommodating to gluten-free customers

It's my go to place for 10 years. NEVER glutened! I always triple check they understand, never an issue. Last visit, met the owner, thanked her for the care they take...."our pleasure!".

I have inconsistent service here. One time they bring my food out separately and then the next time they don't.

I've been to the Aurora location several times and lately, it seems they have had trouble with getting my GF order to be GF. I always alert the waiter/waitress about my food alergy, and within 5 minutes the manager comes to the table with their canned speech about how they will personally ensure my meal is prepared correctly. That song and dance routine has really fallen flat for me, since it often takes several tries for them to get a GF meal to me- usually after the rest of my party has finished their entire meal. No apology from the manager, but they blame the cooks instead. No comped meal either.

They were great about watching for cross contamination and brought my plate out separately from my family's. They didn't really have many menu options that weren't steak, but I ordered the grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and side Ceasar salad. The food was really bland, and the mashed potatoes were worse than school lunches in the 80s. They were flavorless, almost translucent, and disappointing. The chicken was decent but not my favorite. I had better food at another steakhouse chain.

I ate here twice while I was in town. They note the GF allergy for the kitchen and when they bring it to the table the server knew it was designated GF
