Amazingly accommodating! I had a naked cheeseburger and side salad which was delicious! Unfortunately the fryer is contaminated. After I ordered the waitress let the manager know of my risk and the manager came to the table to confirm everything I ordered was safe. They also informed me what precautions would be taken in the kitchen. 1000% recommend!

This place was SO accommodating. They have a gluten free menu, the manager came out and talked to me about how the staff would change gloves and take extra measures to reduce cross contamination (without me asking for her) and then the burger came with a pick in it, indicating that it was gluten free. I did not think I was going to have many options in the airport and I was very surprised!

BEST burger that I have had in years! The staff was very accommodating with the manager coming by and informing me of the safety precautions they were taking for my food. Service was quick. The gf bun was super fresh, the burger was really good quality and the salad was fantastic!

We really enjoyed this restaurant in the airport. They had a dedicated gluten free menu with a gluten free bun for their burgers. They were very knowledgeable about food allergies and what was safe. We really appreciated how nice our waitress was. She said their fries are fried in the same oil as chicken strips so we got the side salad instead.

Finding good gluten free in an airport can be a such an ordeal. So thankful to know Pappas Burgers is well versed in celiacs. The manager came out and made sure let me know they would change gloves and wipe down surfaces before preparing my burger. Not only that but the gf bun was actually delish and not your standard dry bun that’s been on a shelf for weeks.

Wow! Three hour delay in an airport and Not only am I not going to starve I’m enjoying a fantastic cheeseburger with an Udi’s bun and probably the most delicious Greek salad I’ve ever had.l! There is a small gluten free menu but it’s diverse so that’s great. Everyone that I spoke to understood the importance of a gluten allergy so I’m feeling comfortable and enjoying my lunch.

The staff was so attentive & made sure they had a separate area to make my burger with a GF bun. Fries can have cross contamination so they made me a salad free of charge. Best experience in any airport ever!!!

Wow! I have literally never felt safe eating at an airport restaurant before but ate at Pappas on both of my layovers and had a great experience. The waiter was well educated, a manager checked in with me, and I had a great delicious and safe meal.

Okay, WOW! It’s almost impossible for me to ever eat at an airport while traveling, not to mention, I am a restaurant owner and I myself have never even experienced such great service for Celiacs before! The hosts were unsure but went to get the manager, both the person who took my order confirmed that they change gloves, use a separate prep space and gave me so much information on their protocols. Then the Manager came over personally too and confirmed everything with me before visually going to the chef and giving them the lowdown and the chef giving me a smile and a nod! Exceptional service! I ordered a cheeseburger and side salad with GF dressing. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience! After informing the server, the manager came out and informed me about all the possible cross contamination within the burger, bun, and fries. I ordered a GF bun w/o cheese and extra veggies - no fries… they are cross contaminated. ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS I HAVE EVER HAD.

They have GF buns so you can eat just about any sandwich/burger. Fries are not cooked in a separate fryer though. While there was not a huge gluten free selection, I was very impressed with the care the staff took in reviewing my order and making sure it was safe. As far as gluten free options the staff is helpful! A good breakfast option with real food that is GF, not just some prepackaged sweets! Definitely worth checking out, they even had GF buns so I am assuming that they have some other meal options. We had the trail boss with no potatoes and the manager offered additional eggs in leu.

Flew into Houston for a quick layover and stopped here for lunch. My daughter and I are both celiac and when I asked for a gluten free menu the manager came out and told me exactly what was safe and that he would watch over and make sure gloves were changed and food wasn’t contaminated. He was very accommodating!

These folks know about gluten allergies and take it seriously. I wish more airport restaurants were as careful.

Breakfast review. Three stars since it was simply average, and not special, but definitely GF. Greeter said GF not available, but I sat down based on reviews. Asked for manager, and they were able to set me up with eggs, bacon and sausage combo, along with GF bun. Nothing special (although the sausage links were unique and tasty), but if you are traveling and need a breakfast option at the airport, this is serviceable. I would like to try it at lunch or dinner.

There was none of the subtle "eye-roll" behavior you get with some eateries. The best part was the food. They have a gluten-free bun that is the best gluten-free bread I have eaten anywhere. This was a great experience overall and definitely better than I had expected from an airport restaurant.

Best Gluten Free Burger in Houston! We love Pappas management for their Gluten Free procedures! Most wait staff are well educated, and a manger or head cook will discuss your order with you and explain cooking procedures. The cook line will clean the grill surface and change gloves before preparing your gluten free burger. It's well worth the extra wait for my family to safely eat a DELICIOUS gluten free burger with gf bun and side Greek salad (unfortunately, the fries are fried in a shared fryer).

I was able to get an egg, cheese, and tomato sandwich on a gluten free bun. The potatoes were deep fried - I didn’t have to ask the staff warmed me - so I passed on those. They also offered to substitute Swiss or cheddar for American cheese, which may not be gluten free. I get tired of asking all the questions; it was so nice to be with this understanding and knowledgeable staff.

Fantastic service, separate gf menu. Cook came to table to ensure us grill would be cleaned before cooking our sons burger and it would be assembled in a separate prep station. Traveling as a celiac can be challenging. Getting stuck overnight unexpectedly can be really challenging. Reading reviews about Pappas Burger had me hopeful I would finally have a real meal. AMAZING!! Best GF burger I've had. I added Swiss and bacon. The hostess and server were very sweet and then a manager came out and confirmed my allergy order. Then our food was delivered by the general manager. The buns were the most fluffy and moist I've had. Best allergy accommodation I've had other than Disney. I travel thru this airport concourse every month and had NO idea til now I had a GF option, let alone one this awesome.
