Got cross contaminated. Did not take my request seriously. Could have been because of the lunch rush but still.

I did a "test of faith" based on other reviews, so I cannot speak of cross-contamination prevention. I ordered the Steel double burger as a salad with mixed greens...no fries, no drink. I walked away happy and had no Hashimoto's/gluten side effects.

I called and verified they have separate fryers for their breaded chicken and their truffle fries. Offer lettuce wrap for no extra or "salad" (lots of greens but no dressing beyond what the sandwich gets) for $3 on all sandwiches.

Loved their Hawthorne (burger with goat cheese, and strawberry jam), and the Burlington (pulled pork with coleslaw and Carolina mustard sauce). I'm fairly anti salt so will get the truffle fries without salt next time (was about all I could taste, but that's not unusual for me).

Their fries are NOT gluten free. They fry them in the same oil as the chicken. Burgers are good.

The food and the service was spot on, as a celiac I was worried about getting sick but I didn't. I told the staff I had celiac disease and they took extra measures to make sure I didn't get sick.
