Armed with the allergen menu, I confidently ordered a safe meal for my celiac toddler. Right off the bat, I asked the girl to change her gloves and she was happy to comply.
While the kids menu doesn't specify, they have a mini rice bowl option available. Since I did research before I came in and I know what my daughter likes, I ordered a mini bowl with white rice, black beans, and chicken. I added shredded cheese and sour cream. She devoured it! I gave her some chips too, but forgot that the menu said they could be cross-contaminated. She did have a little issue a couple of days later (her MO) so it was probably the chips. However that was my fault.
The only reason I marked safety down is that when they scoop the ingredients into the bowl or on to a tortilla, the utensil could come in contact with the tortilla. I could, and probably should, have asked for fresh utensils, but I didn't. So there is a risk of cross-contamination, but not anymore so than eat out at most establishments.
We will try again and avoid the chips to see if she reacts again.

When I visit at 9pm on a Thursday night, the employee didn't seem to have training on wheat allergies. After he was unsure about some menu and cross contamination questions I had, he asked the manger (who didn't come out to talk directly with me) and offered no additional information. Needless to say, I didn't feel comfortable eating there, so I left.

While they list all shells, chips and tortillas as either containing gluten or having a chance of cross contamination, you can still get a delicious burrito bowl with rice. They even have a kids bowl, it isn't on the menu but if you ask they have it. Their website has a complete allergen list that lists gluten specifically and not just wheat. The employees in the store were knowledgable and each item had its own utensil to reduce cross contamination risk. All the meat options were gluten free and there are loads of gluten free topping options included in the price (guacamole and queso don't cost extra). One happy parent with three happy kids (the pickiest one not only cleaned her plate she licked it clean)! We will be back a lot!

I advised I had a gluten allergy. Asked if I want the "sheet" (menu showing gluten free). I said I had it pulled up on my phone. Then he grabbed a bowl asked what I wanted. Ask they change their gloves due to the allergy. He did & continued to grab the same bowl that had already been "glutened". I went ahead & just left at this point because I could tell he was not informed & there was zero safety used when handling gluten allergies

Pretty solid- like chipotle but with free guac. They changed their gloves as soon as I said I have Celiac so I didn't even have to ask :)
