The only gf option is the Yamada-Ya ramen, but honestly that’s the only reason I wanted to go anyway. I’ve never been able to try restaurant ramen before, so when I saw there was a place I made that the goal. And I really loved my meal, it was a perfect way to end a busy day hiking. It was a big crowded, but it was during the cherry blossom festival so that’s to be expected, it probably won’t be as crazy during a normal day.

I was told that the Yamadaya is the only ramen they can make gf. Maybe check ahead about the vegan/vegetarian option if you do not want to have meat. As others have mentioned: very tasty and „complete“ ramen! The soy sauce on the table was also gf tamari, should you need it.

Asked about the gluten free options and were told they can do the Yamadaya and the Vegan one completely gluten free. My boyfriend and I shared one Yamadaya and that was more than enough! Both the noodles and the broth were really delicious. I didn’t have any issues after and would recommend!

Most complete GF ramen I’ve had to date. Ask for GF Yamada Ramen. They will tell you it won’t be the full Yamadaya experience because it comes sans marinated bamboo shoots, but it will be mostly complete. The broth, Pork char sui and belly is GF and they have GF ramen noodles- the good kind (not rice or mung bean noodles). they also give you a soft boiled egg in place of the cured egg!! It was so good, I slurped it all up!! I wish I had one back home!!
