Review of Ruby's Diner

I didn’t have a very good experience as a celiac here. Asked the front if they have options, she said yes and to talk to the server. The server was not very knowledgeable and didn’t even try to get anyone. When I asked what’s gluten free he told me get the crispy chicken. ( which has a crust of gluten ) I opted for simple gluten free buns for a cheeseburger. When I told him we have wheat allergy , he went to the kitchen and said they can do fruit bowls. Order came with lettuce burgers with fruit. But even the fruit had crumbs on it. My Caesar salad was made without croutons but I saw crumbs on it as well as if they just picked up the croutons from the top as an afterthought. My non-celiac husband enjoyed his meal though
