I ate here ordering gluten free Alfredo pasta dish- I was very hesitant on this because I know it’s made with made typically with flour. However the waitress assured me that it was gluten free and that all their sauces were. I said ok, so I ordered it. It was the best tasting Alfredo I ever had!! Then bam I was deathly ill for about 48 hours after leaving the restaurant . It took about 5 mins for my stomach to feel like I was having labor pains, it was the worse feeling ever. I called the restaurant to tell them I had gotten sick, and they kept saying no way, that sauce was gluten free. There’s no way that sauce was gluten free. I haven’t been back and never plan too! Use caution when eating here. I have never been sick like this since starting my gluten free journey.

Had gluten free pizza, and I got sick with abdominal cramping and diarrhea. Don’t know if it was a topping I chose or if the dough or baking process was the problem. My daughter had gluten free buttered noodles and was fine. The staff and managers are wonderful and kind, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. I’m so disappointed that I got sick. I had high hopes. Staff assured me they would be careful about cross contamination, and i felt safe based on what they said, but alas, glutened. 😢 Won’t be back. Incidentally, it was by far the best tasting gluten free pizza I’ve had. Delicious, but not worth the aftermath if you have celiac.

As soon as we sat down we asked if they had a separate gluten free menu and were snapped at that they are not a gluten free kitchen. We were aware of this but that was extremely rude and restaurants can make accommodations but obviously they aren’t focused on their customers. We asked about the pizza and the same cutter is used for all pizzas. We asked about the pasta and the pasta is cooked in the same water as the gluten pasta. We asked about the fryer and it is not dedicated it’s shared. They did not offer any options that would be celiac safe and were honestly rude. As a frequent traveler, I have ate at numerous non-dedicated restaurants safely, however, I would never return to this location and would never suggest anyone with gluten intolerance or celiac to eat at this location.

Sammy V’s GF pizza is FANTASTIC. it is enough for one with take home of a couple slices for breakfast the next day. The crust is stupendously crunchy, the cheese is delish and any added toppings make it like your a normal gluten eater. The antipasta salad is the best. Great wine selections.
