I'm a very sensitive celiac, and I've always had a really good luck here. I think that the flavors are labeled GF on the signs, but I always get the same flavor (Pavaroti), so maybe I just don't need to ask. Without my asking, they always know to go in the back and use unopened tubs with a clean scoop. I've probably gone ten times in the last few years, and never been sick.

No GF markers and the worker really had no clue what flavors had gluten. He showed me the book listing allergens, which was honestly kind of cumbersome - and being newly gf, I would have had to google a bunch of the ingredients that weren’t obviously gluten. I opted for simple flavors (chocolate, cinnamon) and had no problem but definitely would proceed with caution.

I love ice cream and have eaten here several times. The vast majority of the time the workers there look at me blankly when I ask about gluten free. They really have no idea. I’ll usually ask to have them pull the buckets up so I can look at the ingredients. I always request a clean scooper to be used but I also always feel like I need to watch them like a hawk to be sure they actually adhere to my requests for no cross contamination.
