Yes, there is a gluten-free menu and the waitress was very knowledgeable. A safe restaurant. The only downside is the price and the quality/price ratio. Really too expensive for what you get, not worth the trip in my opinion.

Had a great experience here with my daughter who has Celiac. They have a gluten free menu and even told us other items that could be prepared gluten free. The waitress was very knowledgeable and happily checked with the kitchen for any questions she couldn’t answer. When gluten free items were delivered, the individual delivering them stated they were gluten free as he put them on the table. All the food was delicious and my daughter was so happy. Wish it was in our home town so we could go regularly.

I came here with a group and had a great experience. The menu is not labeled, but when I talked to the staff, they physically marked what was safe on the menu for me and even confirmed with the chef. The ube cheesecake was phenomenal!

Went to Seito last night. Hadn't back been in over 5 years (first time there wasn't great). Absolutely loved everything we got. Waitress was super nice and accommodating. She marked some stuff on the menu but did inform me that many other things could be modified. I was happy with options she marked so I didn't inquire about any others. Got oysters and garlic lime edamame. Then we got the Negitoro and Yellow Fever rolls and she brought me gf soy sauce. Finished with the Ube Cheesecake (SO GOOD). Also had some cocktails that were divine.
I love that I could actually have specialty sushi rolls here because I'm so used to just getting plain rolls/nigiri at most places. Our waitress also informed us when we ordered the Yellow Fever roll that the shiso leaf is normally fried so it would taste stronger/more bitter in the gf preparation. I really appreciated that she knew this and warned us in case we didn't want that. I love raw shiso leaf so this wasn't a concern and the roll had such an interesting flavor profile. Highly recommend this roll if you like shiso/perilla.

I’ve dined here successfully without getting sick a dozen times now. Waiters are trained well on what can and cannot be made GF and go to the kitchen for clarity when they need it. The pink key west shrimp fried rice modified to be GF is as good as it gets. Server brings out GF soy sauce upon request. Haven’t had any issues with nigiri pieces either.

The Baldwin Park Location CANNOT accommodate rolls with crab (a majority of the good/special rolls) because due to cost and supply issues they now call it “crab salad” which contains imitation crab which contains gluten. This is annoying because the menu says “crab” so any unassuming GF person would order it and get sick.. However the sand lake location can accommodate by using real crab. The baldwin park location now has very few GF options which is a total bummer because this used to be the spot to get specialty rolls and not just the basic stuff us celiacs are used to having. Highly recommend the sand lake location.

Their spicy Mayo is not Gf. So if you like spicy rolls, you’re out of luck. Few things you can have as is on menu. I ended up with fried rice. Oh well.

Very knowledgeable about gluten free and even brought out a menu that the server personally marked with items that were gluten free. The server was very helpful by stating what could be modified and asked the chef all my questions. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I did not get sick either which I am always afraid of when traveling.

Sieto Sushi is our go-to sushi restaurant! They are Celiac friendly and accommodate other allergies. Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free and allergies in general….. especially Autumn (server). They will substitute the imitation crab for lobster. They also have vegan mayo.

Absolutely amazing dinner here! Our server proactively brought a special menu he had marked for all GF items. We got the trumpet mushroom app, two sushi rolls, and the ube cheesecake. It was all unique, fantastically delicious, and a really fun dining experience.

The address for this restaurant is incorrect. Seito is located in Baldwin Park.
The Good Salt Restaurant Group, which owns Seito, Osprey, Reyes, and The Monroe are EXCELLENT at doing gluten free. They have GF menus and the staff is well versed. They will prepare things in a safe way. Never have had a problem with a reaction after eating at any of their restaurants. AND the food is excellent!

The staff was very accommodating and helpful when finding what was gluten free or what they could make gluten free. The sushi rolls were delicious!! There were 5 different rolls to choose from. They had other items on the menu, but I don't recall which those were. I would definitely eat here again.
