EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠ My wife and I were in town for an event and went to enjoy breakfast this morning. She has celiac along with other GI issues and has food restrictions due to them. I want to clearly state that we aren’t sure that there was any gluten cross contamination, however, our experience makes us question the full safety of this restaurant. My wife ordered her food with no bell peppers and the bruschetta on the side. Her meal came out with both in her skillet, neat and piled high. She sent it back and they brought back, very quickly I might add, what had to have been the exact same dish, but you could tell it had been scrapped apart to “remove” the bell peppers and the bruschetta as it was very messy and flat compared to the first one. After a couple bites, she noticed there were still a few peppers in her skillet and there was spinach in the bruschetta. We asked to speak to a manager and the General Manager, Brandon, came over and he was very rude from the start. He claimed that the waitress did not put the note on the ticket that my wife wanted no peppers and the bruschetta on the side. He also claimed that the kitchen did not deconstruct the skillet and he said he watched them remake the skillet and that the peppers must’ve been left on the grill from another patron’s meal. When we mentioned that we were disappointed as this was harolded to be a safe place for those with celiac and those with food allergies/sensitivities, he said that they take it very seriously. Obviously they do not if they re-serve deconstructed dishes, which makes us question the safety of the food that’s supposedly “gluten-free”. He was very condescending, not taking accountability for anything and blamed it on the waitress and the kitchen. After he left our table, I let our waitress know that he had said she didn’t input the exclusions and she showed us the ticket which stated NO PEPPERS and BRUSCHETTA ON THE SIDE. Not only did he not take accountability, but he threw his waitress under the bus and lied straight to our faces. I had read so many great things about this place in the past, in this group and elsewhere. We were heartbroken by our experience here and will never patronize the chain again as they have broken our trust. Please be extra careful when patronizing this establishment.

I’ve been to this location multiple times. I thought I was told the first time that the fries were gluten free. I was told this time they aren’t. Big shout out to the crew and manager for keeping me safe.
The burgers are delicious. I don’t even mind the gluten free buns.

Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.
No gluten free buns but they do a lettuce wrap.

Very sensitive to cross contamination and have never had issues here! Wish I could eat the fries (no dedicated fryer) but the burgers are solid.

Had a GF shake shack. They suggest that you tell the team your allergens instead of just adding a GF bun using the automated POS

Allergy entered on menu, Burger on Lettuce wrap tested with nima tester came back gluten found. Manager apologized and had Manager remake.
Menu is digital, allows you to specify allergies.
Not much is Gluten free though.

Gluten allergy stickers were used but didn’t amount to much, girlfriend got glutened and became very unwell on a cross-Atlantic flight. We were told there was a separate chip fryer but suspect there was not…
